2019 ZR1 Corvette Manual POV - COTA -  

As someone used to manual trans during abuse this is my ticket for this stuff like this. Pure control no guessing when the damn tcm is gonna do something funky. I am the one who can make it funky. Long live the manual vette

167mph on the back straight is impressive for the tires being already worn (per the description in the PDR version of this video). That weekend is probably the last track event at COTA for the next few months with the coronavirus shutdowns. COTA laid off half of its employees Monday. Has me wondering if the next Edge Addicts event in mid May is going to happen...

A Manual transmission!!!! It's Not about changing gears faster than a computer....for Me,its all about the driving experience of having More control of the engine,and gears...the pull of 3rd gear at 4000 rpms...😁

Did you ever get a good time @ COTA with this beast prior to mods? Was there an OEM camber plate, or did you need to add one? Man I miss track days! Thanks for feeding my addiction, Adam! Hope to see you out there again, soon.

Sweeeet shifting

What an angry beast! I miss my tuned C6 Z06, but Corvettes are intimidating ( but oh, so fun) to drive on the limit at the track. My Porsche 911 is faster and a pussycat in comparison. More efficient but not so exciting. Only exception is the GT3 RS. Those are in the same league as the Z06 and ZR1.

How fast were you clocking on the back straight?

Only thing I can say is get into that loud peda sooner when coming out of the sharper corners, if the car is settled hammer down

What's done to the car?

If manual, why does it have levers behind the steering wheel? Operational cost?🤨

does Chevrolet still sell that car or has it stopped being manufactured?

This car does 85 in 2nd gear😭😭😭
