Just take all the brakes off and put your feet down to stop. Can probably get rid of those handlebars and put on a pair of vice grips. Also skip breakfast.
i removed all of the rotors and gutted the supension on my gsxr and went from 187 to 189 top speed. i cant track it without brakes but it works for the interstate.
Why did you take off 1 rotor in the front and the rear one as well? Sorry if this is a stupid question but that fast of a bike and only one rotor, doesn't make sense to me but I am still a new rider.
@@MrGrey-pq6hp I know it’s for weight savings but it just doesn’t make sense to me because it feels like it’s not that much weight on the bike, And I rather have that stopping power. If he is really worried about weight savings, maybe it’s better to loose a lot of body fat 🤣
@ejrperformance. Must say love the way the bike turned out in its final videos but had a question about the brocks performance strap. My question is if i go with a single side rotar and remove my brake caliper like in this video... are you using a spacer from the brocks strap bracket mounting to where the brake caliper went?
Hey I'm putting an s1 sc project exhaust on the same bike. Looked for a power commander to remap the ecu with no luck. What do you suggest??? I just want to unlock this bikes full potential but nothing crazy. Thanks!!
Good video. What I hate is the placement of the muffler can. Why not somehow find a aftermarket system that has the the muffler poking out between the rear wheel and the swing arm axle. Definitely makes the bike look more tight and not so moonshine still looks.
It really depends on what type of mods you're considering and what your wallet can withstand honestly... You can upgrade it to be faster than the newer bikes, just going to cost you.
brianmathew09 did u notice the tiny rear sprocket he had on there? Ask how many teeth he is running on both front n rear as That will solve your problem
What purpose does the rear break serve for straight line racing? Absolutely non except maybe wheelie control but other than that the rear break serves no purpose for these guy.
@@moondoggy-24-7 hey bro im not saying removing the rear break is a smart move im just saying that it serves these guys no purpose keeping the rear break intact and only adds a tiny bit extra weight. im no weight weenie so i couldnt care less about removing every little bit of weight to improve my times but i do understand why these guys do it. to each their own. btw the zx10 in that video might have clocked better times without a rear brake, but i guess we'll never know lol
First time seeing this guys video but looks like this guys doing a drag build cause of the brakes being removed and plans for a swingarm stretch for what he is doing its a good plan but man removing brakes is scary af not something you should ever do if you ride on the street or track
Dont knock it till u try it. A single 330mm rotor with a set of good pads will make this bike do a front flip if u try. I promise its still an insane amount of stopping power. Every single person has been amazed how their single front rotor with good pads stops better than 2 front rotors and stock pads.
@@EJR-Performance but you forget that you 've got only one set of discs and pads to fade, on constant abuse, like on track day.. Question is not "will it happen" it is "when" 😕
