ABOUT FREAKONOMICS RADIO NETWORK:
Freakonomics began as a book, which led to a blog, a documentary film, more books, a pair of pants, and in 2010, a podcast called Freakonomics Radio. Hosted by Stephen J. Dubner, it’s one of the most popular podcasts in the world, with a reputation for storytelling that is both rigorous and entertaining. Its archive of more than 500 episodes is available, for free, on any podcast app, and the show airs weekly on NPR stations. Freakonomics Radio is now the flagship show of the Freakonomics Radio Network, which includes the podcasts No Stupid Questions (est. 2020), People I (Mostly) Admire (2020), and Freakonomics, M.D. (2021).

Glad comments aren’t turned off😂😂- i kid- but so many are.. the T- no allowance of discussion/outside info.. having women fired, changing facts, men are in women’s prison cells😰- but mention it- blaspheme! We need this as practice. Debate and history and free speech must be used❤️❤️

Edit* fact check at end ! Love it! Also, so glad for the clarification on misogi! mm, as soon as I hear a new Japanese concept I want to ask why are we taking so many concepts from japanese, which may appear useful but is 1. Coming from a very toxic work and controlled culture 2. Is usually twisted to western captialistic versions 3. If it is a gentle art, I would bet it's not widely applied

It seems that the modernization hypothesis may require more nuance to the argument because richer democratic countries unhappiness Still have problems, but they're more systematic out of reach problems that an individual cannot handle anymore. This makes us feel like we lack purpose Because we are forced to live in a systematic stream that makes us go to work, come back home, rest for a little bit, go to work, come back home and rest a little bit and information is completely gate kept and we are not able to successfully survive for longevity without following the systematic problem.
