Good review. I think the only roadblock for this car would be fuel efficiency. Our market is very sensitive to fuel efficiency and I guess this engine+gearbox combo will give close to 9 kmpl in the city.
U said ciaz is not fuel efficient and not fun to drive either...but y do people still buy that tin can? .. spending more than 5 lacs for a maruti car is criminal waste of money.. Spending more than 10 lacs for hyundai again is a waste...
I would rather spend 10+ lakhs on a hyundai rather than skoda coz you will never know when the company will quit India due to poor sales...and they constantly discontinue a lot of models which also hits their resale...so skoda is a complete no no and not to mention the below the standards design of the rapid ...and wafer thin service network omg...the list goes on and on

The interior looks out dated. Exterior looks of the car is not at the par with the competition. I would rather go for Honda City. At the end of day you get what you pay for. Spending the difference 40~50K would be worth going City or Verna.
True that, there is no denying that the Rapid is ageing. The only good thing coming out of that is that the car is priced in a very economical manner now and could be a good alternative to hatchbacks and compact sedans
At 1:50 is reported that it has 16.2 cubic feet or 460 liters of trunk or boot space. This is the typical FAKE GOURMET sedan, the one that comes ready to be swallowed by an SUV. In the ranking of decent sedans (TOP 500 SEDANS) with a trunk capacity above 500 liters or 17.6 cubic feet it does not enter.

But that's because SUVs and hatchback vehicles don't have that commitment to having a big trunk like a sedan has to, because in reality an SUV is just a "high-heeled" hatchback car, or "clog" hatchback (hatchback de tamancos) as they say here because of the big wheels, that is, an SUV is nothing more than a hatchback with big wheels.
