Im honored to have followed Kim Jung Gi's work while he was among us. I, like many of us, were witnesses to a living legend. He was one of the rare few who was understood as a Giant even during his time. There won't be another. Thank you Jung Gi
I've only just discovered this amazing man... And now I find out he has passed away. How sad... What an amazing artist he was. I've become a huge fan of his work.
@@Peterdevi 100% Agreed. He was a master. This is one of the good things about the internet; legends like this can still teach us long after they are gone. Books are one thing, but seeing him do it is another entirely.
Honestly, every time I watch a live stream of kim jung gi casually drawing, it always makes me calm when I draw as well and I don't know why. I'm guessing because of how he doesn't care about fame or social media, he just draws what he wants. It always feels like he's a second father that I wish I had (not saying that my father is terrible, he's a cool person). Anyone else has the same feeling?
OMG, I CANT BEIEVE THIS MAN PASSED AWAY. I JUST FOUND OUT AS I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME DRAWING VIDEOS. DONT WORRY WITH ALL YOUR WORK, YOU ARE NOT JUST AN ARTIST. ''YOU ARE ART ITSELF'' YOU BECAME ONE WITH THE DIVINE ART. MAY YOUR ARTISTIC SOUL REST IN PEACE.
Hey Mr Mousse Tache, the moment you imprint that idea in your mind you will never have the same talent as him. * You are confined only by the walls you build yourself*
Man you can just draw that straight out of ur head on the fly ?that’s just crazy cool . There’s some hours been spent I bet , pleasure to watch man I’m a fan now .👍🏾
Cheers!!! Thank you very much MASTER KIM JUNGG, you are the best, you are a genius, the art shown in this video is very interesting and educational. Also greetings to the MASTER as Ice Cream, I found that episode funny, it looked great, better a Genius Genius \ m / ... Thank you...
@@loganjohnson4730 yes. He gave tips and his female translater was translating it all into English. I think she all wrote it down in the "live chat" section. I wrote down everything I saw and translated it into german ( cuz I'm from germany)
My sincere hope is that he is paid well for his efforts. I refrain from freehand imaginative drawing because, from my vantage, there is no money in it. If there were, I would do nothing else. All day and every day. There is an awkward nobility in starving as an artist, particularly where fantastic, surrealistic imaging is put forward. So it is good to believe that at least SOME who are capable, do earn well, and do become prosperous expressing themselves in this manner. Just so the Picassos of history don’t hog it all, is enough.
@@vikingshark2634 dude do you even fucking know what anatomy and proportion is? LMAO, it doesnt mean if a person has fucking 6 arms or some shit their anatomy is messed up, all muscles are literally on proper place, Kim Jung gi just added a bit of fantasy in his art tf?
@@vikingshark2634 you talk like u can draw better than him, have u even go to his classes? the way he teaches human anatomy and perspective? have u seen it? like bruh if you have then u wouldve fucking known what anatomy and proportion is, also not adding a bit of fantasy in ur art would be fuckin boring imo
@@reese8050 Dude do you even fucking know what facetious means? LMAO. It doesn't mean if a person has no fucking dictionary or 8th grade level of English or some shit.
i am so upset that he is no longer with us. the man is a true prodigy. i am certain i will never reach his level of mastery with a life time of practice.
omg ! who are you , you are not human. i am an artist my self , i know what it takes to draw like that with imagination with no guide lines. there are many great artist around the world i like them too but you are exceptional , one of a kind. big fan of you.
I have to find a website or video about how he started drawing and how he practiced.... it would be good to learn his beginnings... this man is a master of ink and the brush 👍👍
There are several videos of Kim Jung Gi on RU-vid--including some that talk about how he started drawing and some in which he breaks down some of his techniques.
if you want to draw like this..become a comic strip artist and draw in pen and ink and in brush ..with a deadline every day,,to finish 50 to 60 frames per week for forty years..you may draw like this... its a balance between compulsion and art...
