That's the most confusing review I've ever seen. You seemed to be looking for faults before you even started - you can't get the cups in the cupholder because the climate controls are in the way (you can actually, easily). You fobbed off the dna control without really knowing exactly what it did. You evaluated the rear space without even getting in it (it's not good but then those needing that space need a SUV really). But the best - or worst - bit is you managed to give the engine a scathing review before you even started it. "(2L engine is) a bit naff...not engaging...disappointing engine note... Wrong, wrong and wrong. The engine has been praised by just about everybody who's ever driven it, it's not insipid in the slightest by any stretch of the imagination and the engine note is probably best in class. But the real point is that as much as we all might want the V6, this is the one that most people will be able to afford which is why I can never understand why people bother reviewing cars that (a) they're never going to be very interesting to them however good it is, and (b) that they don't have the ability to recognise that's the one most people will be likely to buy. Then when you drove it you said pretty much the opposite, which made it all get a bit silly really. Why even bother?
