There is an adapter with power cable that plugs right into the Navigation holder for your phone. Also, a relocation kit to place the go’s above the TFT so you don’t have to keep looking down to see gps with a full face helmet.

Max payload isn’t total weight of bike. It’s what the bike can carry.

Shifting a motorcycle is part of the fun for me. Changing gears without the clutch on a motorcycle is like having an automatic transmission in a Jeep, or a European sports car.

The 2020 BMW F850 GSA Weight: *504 lbs* _- full gas tank & with all it oils/fluids_ unladed. 465 lbs is *_not_* correct according to BMW. *EDIT* _Comparison_ 2021 Africa Twin base model weight is *_501 lbs_* with required fluids & full tank of fuel. 2020 Kawasaki KLR 650 ABS weights *_460.6 pounds_* with all fluids & a full tank of gas.

@@CaliMotoTV You may have misspoke or misremembered the weight as we are all are getting old. Around 500 US pounds is really pretty heavy for adventure motorcycles. I have had to pick up off their sides the Africa Twin & the heavier Africa Twin Adventure Sports. I did it but never on the 1st try. God bless

My gf is an extremely shapely 180 lb. beauty. She gives me my money's worth for sure. This bike would handle both of us plus camping gear for an easy 600 mile journey. I am 235 lbs. geared up and ready to ride. The clutch is a little sloppy feeling to me.. I'm used to a Ducati, 1199r sport bike. At only 5' 9" tall, I'm a little intimidated by the F-850's height. I think I might have to get the lower seat.

465 pounds? This bike have a weight of 538 pds with fuel,if you take off 6 g of fuel,still weighs 502 pounds. And you have to be off throttle to downshift!

@@CaliMotoTV ah sorry,you were talking about the payload, not the motorcycle weight! My mistake, the quickshifter on this bike only works when going up if steady or accelerating, and to downshift tje gas have to be completely close,or the computer will not allow it. Oh oh,now that at look at your video again, you just say "465 pds", like it is the weight of the bike. Anyways, not to bust your balls, this bike has been criticized for being porky,but I explained to people that is stronger than other,with more payload, in this case, yes, 465 pds!

12masterr This reviewer is very confused. He cites the payload as the weight. Then later on cites the “maximum allowable weight” of 1,003 as the payload. Hopefully nobody actually tries to ride this with half a ton on it. For those not aware, “maximum allowable weight” includes the weight of the bike itself.
