BMW Motorrad has two new middleweight twins for 2020, the F900XR sport-tourer and the naked F900R. We tried them both at the International Press Launch and in this video we'll talk about the F900R and what our impressions are after riding it for the first time. Great review and interview. Thank you. That's a short list bike for me. I'm moving DOWN in weight from my current bike. I think with a windshield and bags it will be such a great weekend companion. Also glad you cornered the BMW rep. Very knowledgeable and pleasant motorcycle chick. We are both married, she and I. ...Just not to each other.

When BMW acquired Husqvarna, they gave them their 800 parallel twin. Husqvarna bored it out to 900, changed the firing order and the Nuda was born! Wonder if this has any of that legendary bike's engine character?

That 800cc motor was not BMW's it was and still is a rotax, you can still buy the 900cc version from rotax.

True great video. But i'm wondering why choose it. Full optioned, around 11400€, 11900€ for the Street Triple 765 RS... More weight, less power, same electronic package, less sport, top fork on the Triple....

If you want more faster bike, the Triple will be the better choice. Just remember, the RS is quite harder to ride suspension wise.

Why choose the Street Triple? Aggressive 3 cylinder, needs high revs to get power, less torque, the most ugly front ever seen on a motorcycle....you understand? In the end it´s only a matter of taste. I don´t think one of the bikes is better then the other. Same price, same options, 3 cylinder vs. 2 cylinder, more power vs. more torque, .... just a matter of taste and we all can be happy to have this variety on the market. ;)

I want this bike because it's basically a litre street bike twin. I dont care if the ktm 890 will make more power. then I gotta own a fucking ktm lmfao. Same can be said with triumph. People who hate on the big parallel twin simply because it cost less to manufacture so therefore it's not as good... are far past deluded. It's what you're using it for twins make the best street bikes

Minteuan Mihai Vasile The price difference is not that big, but the BMW comes with a lot more features and around 20hp extra.

I love both new bikes (R & XR) , but why the tiny tank BMW, why? Don't give me that "fuel efficiency' line, if I ride my current 1000 bike at 80km/h I can get over 500km from a tank, but I don't ride that slow all the time (no one does), I ride fast and for that I need a bigger tank. Looks like Tiger900 has a larger tank...

Fuck the z900 so what it makes a bit more hp.. who cares when it's a street bike and you gotta rev it out to get that power anyways. Twins are way better than i4 for street bikes. Inline 4s are good for racing that's about it
