I’m very very interested in this bike, so I’m so glad to see you have it as a long term ride. It seems like the guided ride for the international launch was kept to slower speeds, so I’m curious to see a roll on from 100kmh to 160kmh, as well as handling in faster twisties. Maybe a short tour with a pillion as well and their perspective. Thanks guys, you continue to make great stuff!
I really think that i would be really interested in a future F900 GS with 17-19 inches spoked tubeless wheels. BMW should do it next year to replace the “kind of boring” F750 GS.
This was a cracking video man! This unboxing video makes you appreciate the bike more I think. Regardless of the bike. Super looking forward to seeing how this bike goes in your view ;)
Nice vid! Can't wait to see what you think. They had one at my local dealer in CA and it's soooo comfy. BMW did a great job on the ergos IMO. Price they had was $12,700 USD which seems reasonable for the package
great video as always guys. i ve seen all your videos so far. maybe a long term progress similar to how MCN is doing their long term catch ups will be very nice to see (including the first service, some of the things that might not work as they should in the process, etc). looking forward to see your next videos :)
Im riding 85-90% on asphalt & 10-15% on gravel roads & light dirt roads: should i buy this F900XR or a Tiger 900 GT ? If i put on the F900 XR : Pirelli Corsa scrambler tires MT60RS : maybe it could do the job.
Didn't try the Tiger yet - it will happen soon. But I wouldn't take the F900XR in off-road. Not even gravel and light dirt roads. Of course, you can do it, but it's no fun with those wheels and suspension.
@@DriveMagRiders what would be the limitation for riding on gravel as regards the suspension and wheels in your opinion? In many countries you come across gravel/unmade roads in the course of ones travels. I don't quite understand the need for a 'specialised' dual purpose bike like an very tall, very heavy GS/GSA to handle such basic, everyday unmade roads. Here in Australia, many own the GS/GSA, but don't actually take them off road, due expensive repairs if you inevitably drop it (which you will) and the difficulties in managing the weight solo in difficult true off road riding. So, if one only rides mainly on bitumen, and for small distances on gravel roads (say to a campsite), I would hope the F900XR would be capable of at least that, if ridden slowly and with due caution. Would value your opinion on this, as a gravel road is still a road, just as a wet road is still a road - neither would constitute 'off road' riding, and I would hope a decent road bike would be able to cope with most road conditions - potholes, rain, gravel, corrugations, snow, - but not true offload - as in deep mud, clay, sand, forest trails for which one does need a more specialised machine and tyres to manage the conditions more easily. Having said that, I love your videos and look forwards to reading your further thoughts with the long term test of this very interesting new model from BMW :-)
Hello guys, i did a test ride last week end i found a problem with the Front fork and It Is diving top much and It Is not adjustable... What do vu think of that issue? Thanx bye 😁
20th Century Rider hello. We found this problem on the F850GS, but this one seems to have a good set-up. Still have to ride this one, but after the ride at the international media launch, it felt just ok.
Hi, good to see your new bike. However in many bikes you have reviewed what about triumph tiger 900 product. I confused whether bmw GS or Tiger 900 to buy. Please advise. Cheers
Compared with Yamaha Tracer 900 GT, which one is better for average users with few years riding experience? Appreciate if you can do a group test (F900XR, Tracer 900 GT and Tiger 900 Pro GT) or give your opinion on that. You could give me a big help for I am seriously to get one of these middleweight sport touring bikes. Please note I don’t do off road riding.
Never seen any unboxing video like this before hahaha but I test rode it for a good 30 minutes, sounds amazing but speed capped at road limit of 90 sadly. Curious to know how it goes at fast speed. Sadly the small tank is the biggest disappointment for now.
Waaaiiit for it............. There it is the Patreon sales pitch!!! Ughhhh!!! Love your video's , and really looking forward to your assessment of the bike. But that sales pitch every other RU-vid channel is pitching gets old fast. Thanks.
Wheelies i want wheelies and how much attention this bike gains 😋😋🤤🤤🤤 i want it to be compared with tiger 900 gt in terms of acceleration and top speed
@@DriveMagRiders Im asking because by ordering the "Touring-packet" you become cruise control and navi-mount. But you have only cruise control. How that?
@@xcg1234 That's my opinion, too. The F850GS came out two years ago, it has the same engine, and it's everything fine. Btw, I like this one more than the F850.
