I picked up a VXR 28 yesterday at my local bow shop. I know everyone says this, but it surely shot much better than my Triax that I traded in did. I really liked that more narrow grip. It for sure is dead in the hand and quiet!

Looks amazing, I shoot rifles and crossbows and after almost 30 years of service to our nation as a Soldier I want to live the dream of hunting, fishing and golfing. Looking to getting into bow hunting. What would be a recommended one for a starter? Thanks, they tend to be pricey nowadays too.

I just bought my first bow and it was a 2020 bowtech icon dlx. Comes fully ready to shoot with a sight and arrow rest, other than buying the arrows, allen set tool. It has a double cam setup so if you want comfort for target shooting or performance mode for hunting. Its dead in the hand and light. It has a lifetime warranty. I got the all black for humting in a blind. Should try it out.
