Good morning, Meghan. I just finished what has become part of my daily routine, exercising with you on your 5 morning stretches video. At age 74, I thought my days of exercise were over. But then I stumbled across the video and I was hooked. Now it's how I wake up and stretch into my day. After sticking with it I've increased my activity level and plan to go hiking and camping in the Grand Canyon in November. You've helped me stretch into a "Yes I can'' attitude. A personal trainer is on my team, helping me build up my body responsibly. When I stand on the floor of the Canyon, I'll look up and say "Meghan inspired this!"
I just got a Kindle, and I’m already obsessed! I’ve already finished a book and am onto my second within the first three days of having it. Before having this, I hadn’t finished a book in months. Hoping that I’m able to revive my love for reading in 2021 😊
Loved your casual style in this video and all the things you shared. I've been a follower for a while and have noticed your style changing and how you've grown to be more comfortable with "imperfection." It's lovely to watch. Thanks for showing up and wishing you a blessed 2021!!
My favorites : Music: James Bay specially because he took the time to connect during this year by sharing informal guitar lessons (I don't play the guitar but loved the sense of community) Essential oils: Copaibo from Simply Earth Books: Simplicity Parenting by Kim John Payne (I'm not a parent but as a kindergarten teacher I loved his approach) Education: The Reggio Emilia Approach Exercise : Lottie Murphy in RU-vid She does Pilates (most times I just watch) Home: Fairy Lights Wellbeing : My kindergarten students' energy, interest, occurrences, conversations,... just them being themselves has helped so much through the whole year.
Thanks for sharing your favorite things & lessons from this year Meghan. And congrats again on your engagement and soon-to-be wedding! Happy New year to both of you!
I was a follower for some time, then I unsubscribed because I personally found it a little too rigid for me. Then I started watching again, and I noticed your change in being more flexible, so I subscribed again! You are growing and learning, and I like that about you. No judgment here at all, we all have our own journey. But I’m happy to watch you, and I really enjoyed this video. Letting go is a challenge, and I’ve been working on it for years now. Cheers to finding peace and balance! Hello from your neighbor in Montreal! 😊
Thank you Meghan for all your videos 💜 I always find time to watch you. I can see you growing 👏 you became more open to share things with us . You actually quite funny too 😉 they way you speak. Thank you again and see you next year. Looking forward very much xxxxx
Hey I would like to come here and say thank you for simplifying gut health talks. My dermatologist told me my adult acne and inflammation is most likely gut related and I’ve been practicing mindful eating to see trigger foods. Your videos and your free handbook have honestly given me a good starting place and I’m excited to start healing my gut :)
This was a fabulous video. I love your appreciation for the simple, little things in life, like lip balm. I have very much felt that too this year, given how scaled back life has been and currently still is. Wishing you every success with You Tube and your life in 2021. Happy New Year from England! X
Hi Meghan, I've always loved your videos. Very chill and relaxing to watch. I also learn a lot from you. May you have a very happy and prosperous new year! 💕 May I ask, what audio equipment you use? Your audio sounds perfect. :)
Hey there! Thank you so much, happy new year to you too! ❤️As for audio, I use a simple lavalier microphone that I plug directly into my camera and attach to myself. xx
Love how such plain things can change a live and make you happy. I made my list to for myself and i found that even comfortable underwear can make u feel happy lol
Hi Meghan I have watched your videos off and on for a couple of years. I watch you on my nook. I have had 5 nooks over the years. In this video you seem so much more animated than your other videos. Maybe talking about your favorite things has energized you. Anyway, love your videos. Congrats on your engagement. My parents were born and raised in Canada, Toronto and Nova Scotia. Emigrated to California in 1959, where my brother and I were born. We both now live in Arkansas. Sorry so long. Best wishes for you and Sean in 2021.
Oh Meghan, what a beautiful note to finish 2020 with: just “Trust and surrender!” 👌🏻👌🏻🍃🍃✨✨ If we all believe that the best is yet to come and all of this is just part of the process... I, for one, am practicing this everyday! Thank you for another great video and happy almost 2021! 🥂😍🙏🏻 ❄️🥳🥳
Can you make a video on how you stay healthy and fit exercise wise? I really want to make time to strengthen my body this year, and I'm curious as to what you do or recommend. Love your videos so much! 💞
I bought my first ereader back in 2011, for reading and having my textbooks with me. In 2013 I bought a kindle paperwhite and I absolutely love it. I have switched ot for a white one (same model, secondhand) bc I love white, but I am loyal to it. This year I read 37 books. I track them and my wishlist with an app (ireaditnow). I love the weight, how small it is, it is super comfortable for reading in bed and the light does not bother anyone else. I carry it with me in my bag so I can keep on reading while having a coffee or waiting at the doctor’s office. I carry my favourites with me all the time in case I want to reread something... when we travel, my husband takes up to five books. I take my one reader, which is full of sagas... I cannot live without it!
I tried the Cholula avocado toast and holy lanta it is amazing!!! I added some Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel seasoning and oh my gosh I could eat that all day.
My nutritionist just wrote her book and got it published...I believe it's called 'The Un- diet' by Lisa Kilgour. I think you'd really like it because it is all about 'food freedom'. I believe she was trained at the same school/ program as you in Ontario. She lives here in BC now.
Hi Meghan, thank you so much for the video! Happy New Year and hope it's a wonderful and healthy year for you and your loved ones. I have a question about IBS. If it's not a comfortable topic to discuss, then please feel free not to. I'm just curious what kind of things helped you overcome it? I don't have consistent IBS, but the past few years have been really rough trying to deal with it-- also chronically. If I eat certain things like eggs, quinoa, or raspberries, I experience horrible stomachaches, which I never had before. The eggs in particular is a big issues, because my vitamin B12 took a strong dive and I'm not feeling ok right now (spasms, shakes, tremors, fatigue...etc). I understand it's something I should work with a doctor, but if there are certain tips at the top of your head, would love to learn about them. Like I said, feel free to skip the question anytime and have a wonderful fabulous day!!! 🌸
I hope your wedding will be as you plan and want it. We had to postpone our church wedding twice due to corona. :( And there is no new date when we will finally have it. But at least we could do the civil wedding last summer.
Love all your videos & topics 💕 Is that an Everlane sweater? I’ve been wanting some nice sustainable green sweaters like that I have more summer clothes than winter and I live in the cold North ❄️☃️🥶
Hi Meghan. Love your videos. Do you have any recommendations on probiotics that I can take daily in pill form? Thank you in advance. Its mainly for gut health .
@@meghanlivingstone Cute movie. You can also google/RU-vid the bit that was in the trailer (I think?) When Natalie Portman has Zach Braff wear her headphones to hear The Shins. Great sndtrk overall, I think 2 of theirs are in the movie.
hello, my name is sofia and totally off topic, but uhm I’m a young teenager, I really want to loose around 30-40 pounds, I have ran basically my whole life, i exercise sometimes strength 30-50 min and running for 10-20 minutes, I eat okay, I’ve tried meal prep didn’t really work, I’ve tried sticking to diets haven’t worked and I hated restricting my calories and every little thing I ate and I feel like if I don’t do that I won’t get to my goals, but I’ve heard from a lot of influencers that you should do strength/cardio and healthy balanced meals and try and find freedom and a better relationship with food, it’s been hard because I am vegetarian but I really want to be full vegan, but I have no recipes, I feel like I’m making no process and my mental health is not very good because of many reasons and body image and insecurities, but I really just want to loose the weight until I’m at a healthy weight I weigh around 160-170 pounds and I’m 5’2-3. I was hoping that you could maybe guide me, give me tips, vegan recipes? thank you for reading this:)
