After being in the deep freeze here in Houston Tx this past 5 days - I will really appreciated the mundane daily things like - running water, a quick trip to the grocery store and warm sunshine. Love your channel.

I love both sunrises and sunsets. I live in a region in southern Italy called Calabria: the sun rises on the Jonian sea and sets on the Tyrrhenian sea, 30 minutes away. You can catch both on the same day, which is amazing - what a simple joy!

Something I recently realized I need to work on is to be okay with things I don’t like and let it go. I realized I experience food guilt and force myself to eat certain foods “because they’re healthy” and it took a lot of joy away from me. Food wasn’t enjoyable to me due to my rules surrounding it.

To zazz up the joy list you can make it a Joy Wheel. You draw a heart ❤ and encircle it with things/activities that bring you joy. From the center you draw a line to each item like spokes. 'tis a bit more inspiring than an ordinary list 🤓

I love stargazing but I'd have to say sunrises over sunsets. It's more clean and peaceful, and there's a moment when the sun is rising that I feel like I step in a moment of stillness of time, almost like another dimension, where I met the Lord. It's like stepping from one place to another, and then the earth (my time zone) finally fully awakens. It's a surreal transition

I am going to have to say I like sunsets better, they are always so colorful here, and there is a field behind our house so we can see the whole thing, whereas where the sunrise is the woods hide most of it, although it is still really pretty!! God's creation is so beautiful!!

I had to downsize my plants bc I was finding NO joy in unsuccessfully protecting them from my seven cats. I only kept the plants I could safely lock away. Unfortunately, that also means I can't SMELL my plants. I'm thankful for first world problems!
