just got this truck, first time owning a truck. got to admit i was scared at first but now i regret not having a long time ago. Loviiiinnnnngggg itttt.
How do you like the 2.7. Having a hard time choosing this or the 3.5. Tow about 2x a year so not a major concern for me. And prefer fuel ratings. Would you stick with 2.7 or go bigger.

Just bought one with the crew cab short bed, off road package. It’s big. It does not really fit in older parking spaces. So far I’m loving it. I have to use the cruise control to keep from hitting 90 on the highway. It’s smooth. Santaquin Utah Ford, best buying experience I’ve ever had. They were knowledgeable and fair. It’s easy to see why they’ve been in business so long.
I just test drove one of these with the 2.7L ecoboost, in the exact color. From someone who's never owned a truck and really has no use for one, I can certainly see the appeal of these. I'm having a battle without myself to not just go for it.
Gus bought a 2018 xlt sport with the 2.7 becuase of you its basically the same thing i love it i be watvhing all your videos you really do give the best reviews 👍💪
I was waiting for him to show the black version like he said, but never did. Also if you put that in sport mode it has the fastest acceleration even over Chevy.
@@jizzyjake6783 which truck, not Ram is it, certainly not GM. there's was the quickest with the 6.2, but Ford overtook that two years ago back in 2018 when they upped the horsepower and torque numbers.
@@jizzyjake6783 what engine is gonna be in it, cause the current 5.7 has been the same horsepower and torque numbers for a long time. unless there adding the 6.4 which is usually the engine they use in the Ram 2500, which is a step up from the 1500. that I could see, but we'll have to see what the numbers are when the new Ram is out in 2021, cause right now Ford has it.
My new ford and a lot of other peoples newer fords have been adding miles when the vehicle is off. Mine went up an extra 10,000 miles in a year and ford is denying it. Write your mileage down every time you’re done driving and keep track. Ford needs to take accountability for this.
Christoher Henninger I was thinking the same thing. My pops is probably gonna trade his 2014 for a 2020 XLT or maybe a Lariat at the end of the year when they clear the 20s out. I hear they might be doing a redesign for 2021 so we best get one before then because it’ll probably take a while to work out the bugs. I think you gotta get a 10 speed with the 5.0, but we took a ride in one not too long ago and it was really smooth
Everyone that decided to buy the V8 always tell the world it's a V8. What you don't know is the 3.5 tows more, hauls more, has better mpg, way faster, way more torque and has way more performance potential. Throw corsa extremes on it and now you can't even say a 5.0 sounds better. Look it up..
Does anyone know what is the exact color names that Ford uses for the Sport grille? I have the exact same truck but need touch up paint for that grille. Thanks, Ben for another great video!
That bed step is dumb IMO ... Hate on GM all you want, but the integrated bed steps in the rear bumper is genius. Getting into my Silverado's bed is a breeze.
I think that’s a tire tread pattern on the seats. Suggestion: Instead of doing a full in-depth review on every model of the same vehicle, why not highlight the unique features of that model and reference the video that you did the full review? That way it’s less redundant for your viewers and for you.
No the XLT trim is 1 level above the stx f150. The Stx is an added package to a base XL f150 . The sport is an added package to the XLT f150 (the one shown in video)
I believe this still is a work truck, so what kind of a work truck review doesn't mention towing and payload capabilities? This review is all about stuff like leather stitchings and infotainment system. What are the performance numbers? Hook up a trailer drive it around. Put 2000lbs in the bed and drive it around too. How does it perform?
Looks just like 2015 sport package....the new dodge looks better. I have a 14xtr. But this is not what I’m expecting for a 2020. The rams interior is much better...2015 look to me
2020 Big Horn Level 2 has ma MSRP of 51k where I live and it will give you a Hemi heated seats and steering wheel and front a rear sensors and Bedliner. I know this has the ecoboost , but FCA incentives are usually better than fords.
Joe Morale: leather isn't standard on XLT, never has been, but you can get it as an option. but if you want leather standard you have to step up to lariat atleast.

As far as the "key" thing I'm "old-school", i don't mind having a key, i always wondered with the button-start, whats to stop a thief from just "button-starting" your truck & driving away?

That Ford is ugly as hell The headlights need to change I need to have those LED lights and the daytime running lights to please change the daytime running light because I don’t like the little tiny circle lights and I hate that shit a lot and a tail light change that to it’s just like damn light ball I hate that but the LED one the bright one And the blind spot where is it at
