If for personal use or farming or similar, insurance is very cheap compared to a regular pickup truck. These trucks do require some very expensive upkeep, especially with the industrial Diesel engine. I would get a 7.3 liter gasoline petro engine myself. It would be a lot cheaper to maintain and still have plenty of power for most anything, you can also get them set up to switch between gasoline and propane fuel. Propane has fewer BTU so it has less power but it’s much cleaner and engine where is minimal. Propane is far cheaper and if more power is required just flip a switch and it runs on gasoline. Hope this helps you out.
