Cons? It’s a Harley Davidson. It’s been about less is more. You can say a lot about Harley’s ability to get it together as a financial juggernaut, but their bikes are absolutely beautiful. They are often mimicked, but never duplicated. Their characteristic tractor’ish ride and huge dealership network filled with a positive motorcycling culture are also second to none. Their bikes are not tech laden or complicated and why many do really love them and some loathe them. Lately people compare a Harley RG to the Indian Challenger. Indian’s done a great job but it sounds like a sewing machine. It’s paint is lacking and uses a lot of plastic. Harley’s got a special spirit, paint work second to none, and fit and finish that see the use more metal than plastic and they create such a stunning good looking bike. IMHO. I’m repeating myself. Congrats. Ride safe and ride often. Peace.
Thanks man! Windscreen works pretty well at my height, if I were doing long trips every weekend I would have gotten the touring version though. I still get a little wind at the top of my head, whereas if I went taller I would’ve had no wind at all.
Jon Howard How tall are you? I’m 6’, I have a ‘18 road glide special wicked red, got the 12” clock Werks but still need a bit more, I saw yours and thought that it would be perfect! You say it still buffet a bit! I could go up to about 1” under my line of sight, is the 14” about there? If you are about 6’ that is.
Im not a Fairing kinda guy i dont even like superbikes because of fairings why hide the beating heart of a bike? Im sure if i rode the bike id love how it rides and handles etc. But the fairing would have to go which makes it kinda pointless me buying one. The road kings ok though
