Another great video. The white redeye and Charger pair are a father and son that literally just bought those cars. Nice guys, just learning. The dark Hellcat charger and plumb demon are bro’s. Yes the redeye needs drag radials. Other than that, for those that think these cars are slow, none of us are, we’re running at 2000’ above sea level. The max Steel Charger does run 10.6 on 91 oct pump pump gas and some mods and the demon is stock. 11.5 is very good and typical for Hellcat’s for our conditions
No one takes any of that into consideration. Just compare these times with the fastest they've ever seen and call a car slow that they'll never be able to afford
I thought so too except rather than make fun of me the people at the track gave a ton of pointers and helped me improve more than I ever expected. Even people I raced against wanted to see me succeed
What people dont seem to get or know is that this track is at 2000ft elevetation, and the DA is most of the year above 3500ft, if this was ATCO their times would be a lot better..

The aerodynamics of a charger make it the slightly quicker option. So per trim If both cars have the same everything the chargers is going to be quicker.

Why do people assume all sports car owners are professional drivers? My moms taken her Viper, Hellcat, and 2001 firebird trans am (5k miles on it) to the track. She does pretty good, but shes not running the fastest ever times for a stock vehicle. Bunch of angry children posting on youtube because theyre mad they dont have these cars. got to give it to the charger driver, the red eye has 90 more hp, should have more grip, AND weighs less and the charger still pulled. One hell of a driver, but on an average day the red eye would take it to town.
