Toyota has some of the most reliable vehicles. We have been with Toyota and never had any major issues with the Camry, Avalon, or Tundra. If I purchase another vehicle, it will be a Toyota!!

After test driving both the 2019 & the 2020 side by side.. I just bought my 2020 Highlander XLE in Ruby Flare Pearl yesterday...awaiting delivery shortly here in Southern California! 🌞 It was truly amazing/ updated/ upgraded handling. It really felt like 2 different cars because of the new Toyota platform. Thanks Jeff for the review.

Just got this yesterday in metallic and we love it! Drove all the competitors mid size and nothing compared to the highlander! Nice!

I have one now and the ride is so smooth, and very quiet.

Thank you for the nice, extensive review! I am definitely getting the Highlander Hybrid once it becomes available in the coming months. I'm aware that the models are starting to come into dealers but it would be much appreciated if you could also thoroughly review a Blizzard Pearl and Ruby Flare, preferably in Platinum trim, hybrid or non-hybrid. I like how you review the vehicles in bright sunlight to reveal the true color in full light. My fave is blue metallic but I find Blueprint too dark and Moondust too light. (after having owned a 2008 Highlander in mid-blue Blue Streak color). Thanks in advance!

Hey Jeff and team! Is it possible to get glazed caramel interior of the XLE hybrid?

Love the blue but want it with the beige and the 8 seats. Seems like they only ship the gray or black interior and the 8 seat configuration. I guess I'll have to do a factory order.

Good review Jeff, what took you so long? LOL A few issues: 1) They could have made access to the third row easy with a button type release - similar to the Telluride, Palisade and Atlas. 2) The infotainment screen on the 12.3 inch won't let you display the map or Apple Carplay in full screen mode. That makes no sense, why have such a big display and not be able to use it's full capacity? 3) Why are there no USB ports in the third row? Also wish the 2nd row USB ports were placed higher up for easier access and I miss the folding second row cup holders. Beyond that, I like the styling, safety features and quality which Toyota is known for. However, it's still small for the segment. I'm not sure that will attract new customers (versus legacy ones) with all the other options in the segment. I test drove the AWD Limited and was impressed, just wish the third row had at least another inch for legroom. However, it fits my lifestyle and it's on my short list for winter of this year.

This review was good but how come you guys never go to the bottom of the floor to discuss the floor mats and standard flooring

That front grill logo badge looks terrible. I would completely remove and/or modify that front logo badge.

Maybe the Limited/Platinum looks a bit better but not a big change from the previous year. I went with the much better looking Telluride instead and a 2020 Rav4 XSE hybrid for the wife

I really like all the features of the XLE except the sunroof. I don't need a sunroof, I don't want a sunroof, they often leak, take up headroom, and just something else to go wrong in the future that I don't want to deal with for something I would never use. Make it an option I can purchase extra, not a standard. Kia Telluride, here I come.

the grille is like a set of horns lol ...the price is good, the size is good and the fuel economoy is good. and its a toyota so its all good.

Just my two cents... Get a microphone, its annoying trying to hear you scream over the leaf blower. Tip number two, be mindful and dont record with ambient noise such as a leaf blower in the background, try to do it somewhere else or at a different time... your viewers will thank you. They seem like rookie mistakes. Please take this as just advise from a potential subscriber, not trying to be a jerk.
