If u have an android device it will automatically do this with Honda cars with the media servers app u do not need anything extra. I just found this out with Honda today
Like your videos. I would like to see a modification to feed video to front screen. Not to be used when driving only in park mode. What do you think, is this possible?
Possibly. You will have to hack the reverse camera feed. I am not sure if it uses composite or RGB if RGB then you need a converter. Then you need a relay or a switch with several positions to trick display into thinking that the car is in reverse and you feed a SEPARATE dvd or video signal to the front screen. Rear dvd is blueray, so its probably RGB. They don't make it easy. Just brainstorming. I did this on my 2006 Odyssey and it worked ok, but it was all composite video.
Don’t need it if u have an android device under the app “media servers” I have a 2019 and just found this out from Honda today unfortunately it does not work with apple devices u have to plug them up (hdmi cord) to use apple devices
