This is one of the best looking cars on the streets. The only thing the q50 lacks is the old transmission. Infiniti should really put the new ZF and it would be perfect

@@FrostyG87 I would say ZF 8 speed transmission will be more suitable for this car, its a luxury sport sedan. DCT is pretty good transmission too but theres some cons to it that makes other automotive company such as BMW switching some of their vehicles from DCT to ZF 8 speed transmission. ZF is very smooth transmission, shifting speed is not too far behind from DCT and got tons of potential for handling high horse power.

people just complain about the interior as it is outdated (no doubt in that) and doesn't offer a great infotainment system compared to many average cars like the Maxima, civic, accord. Although it is amazing for its tag price, people do tend to expect these technologies from a luxury sport sedan, It should be quite basic. They did update it to Apple car play and android as requested by many. The exterior hasn't been updated in a while but still looks great. Overall for the price, it's worth it, it is powerful and comfortable and certainly, with a few mods it will have many heads turning. P.s. its basic with its technology, so its reliable for a reason!! compared to a BMW or Mercedes

When changing lanes and signaling, all you have to do is lightly tap up or down on the turn signal stalk once, and the turn signal will automatically blink three times for you, instead of pushing it all the way up or down to where it clicks and blinks non stop until a sharp turn, or until you turn it off.

Great video by the way! I like that you don't make the video about yourself with the camera aimed at you instead of the dash. I want to see and hear the car, not the person driving it, unless it's a full car review. A perfect car review would use your video angle when driving. It sucks that 90+% aim the camera at themselves. Thanks for the awesome video!

Wow great vid! As said in the description, the top speed is actually greater than 155mph and I was able to hit 0-60 on Texas Motor Speedway with my draggy with my 19’ Q50 Red Sport (Same Color Combo and everything as one in this video) in 4.3 Seconds and I hit 173mph and it still wanted to go more. I have a couple buddies who supposedly did >160mph in their Red Sports too

I have a 16 redsport and they should really update the inside. Maybe make the dual screen a single screen and the head dash behind the steering wheel all digital..just my thoughts and all the redsport should come with red interior and id like to see a panoramic roof

I think this sedans biggest strength is its exterior design, however, the interior leaves alot to be desired. Dated infotainment, lack of interior customizaion options, no ventilated seats, really brings down the appeal of this car.

I wish INFINITI kept the manual! Although you can go out and buy a 2014 model with a 6-speed manual for 25k it’s just not the same! ....oh wait it is, this car hasn’t been updated in forever. Great video Miles!

2016 is the model you want to buy. The 3.0t because it has two times the turbo fun. 2014 models used the previous 3.7L NA engine. So YES i has been updated. That 2016 update was very important. It's an engine update! 2016-2020 Infiniti Q50 or Q60(coupe). Trims are premium, lux, sport, red sport. In AWD or RWD. The best used Q50 you can buy is a 2016 Q50 3.0t Premium. Same drivetrain as red sport but just detuned from factory. Thousands less than a RS and all it needs is a tune to be quicker than a red sport. Those thousands you saved can be used in performance mods. And youll end up with a 570hp luxury sport sedan. That's the best used car bargain imo. Skip the 2.0t. They are cheaper but not worth it. They won't get supercar numbers like the 3.0t

The new Q50 (2018- present has 2 different facelift options, led tail lights. 2020 comes with Apple carplay. Not going to see a new example of an Infiniti product until late 2020 early 2021. Heard they got good stuff planned.

I've been going back and forth between this car and a Maxima SR 2020. The Maxima has a Panoramic Roof, a tried and true reliable engine and better infotainment, but it has just FWD and that CVT, which I don't mind. I love the Q50, But it annoys me that Nissan hasn't updated it and the car is like 8 years old. 🙃🙃🙃

You have the option to not choose steer by wire. It is actually great but the average driver has to get used to it, I suggest changing the tires to performance sport tires which can dramatically improve the dynamics

No its not as good as other cars I see. Doesn't work well in low lights but does work well when it is working. I have the all around camera that's the way to go!

@@shiromandeenanton7853 I understand that only thing that gets me I have 2017 accord loaded my car Technology is way better than this car! It’s not as fast no. Even the exterior looks better in my opinion. I just think that infinity is struggling with what to do. Acura is kicking ass, the new IS is whatever. I’m just waiting for a update with infinity I do agree with u amazing car to drive just needs that update it looks like a grandpa car now compared to the brand’s

@@shiromandeenanton7853 a loud engine doesn’t make head turn yeah when they are annoying loud sure lol. Cars like Acura and Lexus u dotn have to do much to then they look amazing they fast enough. Cool infinity has 300 horsepower and a 400, but that’s all the Exterior is boring and looks like a grandpa car sedan trying to be cool , the inside looks dated. The best looking car out rite now TLX 2021 hands down!
