That thing is a technological rocket ship. Very nice. I ride cruisers now but my son bought a Ninja about 10 years ago and that thing would fly. The only problem was that if I lifted my head up at high speed it would almost rip me off the seat. Have fun and be safe.
Yes i learn this the hard way going from a 400 ninja to testing this out, now i know why they have beginning categories and everyone was like if your a "safe rider" you can handle it 🙄. I'll be NOT getting one just yet.. but it's on my list when i grows up 😆
i had a 2018 400 in the black/grey/orange for a year to learn on and i honestly liked the bike. however... there were times when i felt i just didnt have the power i needed sometimes. mph is great, suspension is okay for preset adjustment, handling was awesome because of the low weight, and the mirrors worked pretty well. now though... i ride a h2 lol!
@@ncgrave4586 I'm certain if you have a h2 now you do not ride it at half its potential. I sure hope you kept the ninja 400 because I purchased one after my h2.
@@TJB0219 say word, Marcy, damn it's been a minute since i been to that WMT Distro. off RTE 49 right? and what was that 291, i think? did some Back Haul's outta there before ( i remember it was by Midstate )
Bro, I just came across your channel and immediately noticed where you were when you started the video. I purchased my 899 panigale from Hermy's about a year ago and ride all around that area. There are some great sweeping roads and twisties out that way. Stay safe and enjoy the bike man!
Incredible. I had my DRZ stolen 5 weeks ago, so I opted for the Ninja ZX-10R as well XD. I love mine to death!!!! looks like we have a similar history.
Nice balance between your voice level, exhaust sound, and POV camera position. I like that I can see the bars, dash, and windscreen. Nice roads and scenery. Good info, overall its a really enjoyable video.
Bought my son same bike and started with getting pipe from UK bike shop and this was 1st video I've seen of yours , LOVE IT!! I can learn more of do's and don'ts from u. Thank you ..
Guns, Crosstreks and now, Ninjas! We’re officially kindred spirits... Came across your channel a while back searching Crosstreks vids, when you mentioned fitting targets in the trunk, it was “subscribe” at first sight. Thanks for the great content.
It definitely is awesome, I’ve had many sport bikes in my life and seeing you riding that zx10 makes me want to get back on one again and JUST RIDE...!
Lets go, Talon!! About time we got some more bike content!! I am a bit biased as that’s all my channel is but whatever. I test rode the ZX6R last summer and man was it something else...hopefully someday I’ll go back😝. But enjoy !!
@@MrBlackem1 the 2021 has a nice tft display. I must say I wasn’t a fan of the looks at first but it has really grown on me. Still though, the 2020 gen is the best looking 10R imo
Tested my first 10R in 2006 which was a monster. And recently checked out the 10R SE (2018) and I realised that that is the closest to a track bike one can ever get. However that said, I find your bike is absolutely awesome. You got a brilliant bike. Congrats on the new litre class.
I had always like motorcycle but haven’t ever ride one in my life unfortunately hopefully i’m able to learn and get one in the future and this one looks dope bro congratulations enjoy it and be safe
Bo Thompson any advice for someone like me who doesn’t know how to ride a bike but does want to ride a motorcycle any tips and let clarify a bit with me not knowing how to ride a bike is because I am stubborn and still am about it till this day
@@Chris09978 learn slowly and be PATIENT. Patience is key, I have a CBR600F2 as a first bike, and trust me be patient, and take it slowly or you will end up dead. You'll always want to end up pulling that throttle all the way back, but GOD DAMN it's scary if you're new
I love the moto vlogs! Personally, I think it looks and sounds great. You might want to rewatch the vid cause in my opinion it's good to go, but in the same thought you are the expert and are the reason why I keep watching! Keep em coming!
Thanks, I was assuming it would have been worse while I was riding but it did look and sound better than expected haha. I will still be making the update as mentioned tho and it should be even better yet!
I loved the video, I can’t ride anymore and loved seeing the road from the saddle! The bike looks beautiful and I am surprised because I am not a fan of all black vehicles. Please make more videos like this, I for one would love to see them for many reasons Thanks for sharing and Happy Riding!
Awesome bike man.....I have been looking for my next one and have been looking at the ZX-10R's thanks for sharing.....you have made my decision that much more clear.
Crazy we have similar 1st "dream vehicles". My first was a 2011 WRX, then got a 2015 STi. Still have my 1st and only bike 2003 Honda CBR 600rr. Love the new bike man, enjoy it!
You have a beautiful bike. My first bike was a 2005 zx10 & now I have an 06 cbr1000rr. I'm looking forward to experiencing the newer bikes. I know I'm going back to Kawasaki. I love the new zx10rr
First off, thank you for clarifying the break in stuff! For some reason people think you need to BABY these super bikes during break in. Not the case! Also, if you have any interest in doing some track days, I’d be more than happy to help get you acquainted! I do an average of 10 a year and have a decent amount of experience on track. Seriously, any questions at all, don’t hesitate to ask! Congrats on the new bike dude!
Congrats man, this is my dream bike as well. Almost bought the 2020, unfortunately I decided to wait until next year so I can put at least half down and buy all my gear outright. Hopefully they update the cluster by then. Ride safe
Hey man you should take it and get it tuned I have a 2018 ZX 10R with a slip on cat delete smog block off plates it’s got 198 to the wheel and you can unlock the quick shifter down with the auto blip it’s in the ECU you just have to unlock it
absolutely love kawasaki. ever since i saw the viral video of the ninja H2R accelerating more quickly than an f-16. great video talon, just think about this tho: a vlog series where you hop on the kawasaki, and run it to the range, ON SUNDAY GUNDAY :O
Still have my 07 zx10r. Dont need those abs, traction options, wheelie modes, etc etc... 90-95% just as fast as the new ones. You can't go wrong with the older bikes either
I thought about getting the new R1 this summer but I'm saving up for the 2025 Corvette Zora. I love bikes but the risk exceeds the reward for me. That being said I'm happy for you. It's a great bike and it's about what makes you happy. The NINJA H2 is a sick bike from Kawasaki as well. An EDC for when you ride would be a great vid. Safe travels bro, enjoy!
Great video on your new ZX-10R. I ride those roads quite a bit on my way to Schaeffers and Hermy's on Rt 61. Looking forward to your updates on the Ninja.
Yes yes yes yes yes this is why this is the dopest channel on the planet guns gear bikes travel adventure and party T Sei seriously amazing content your the best love it brother
I have this bike as well. It's getting the ECU restrictions taken off, power commander, and tuned right now so i'm pretty stoked to see the power difference when I get it back
I've ridden these roads I think. PA has sweet ones. Yamaha sounds best IMO. I've owned and raced ZX6Rs. Congratulations on the new bike. Audio was perfect.
Was not expecting a video like this from you. Lol. Awesome. I have a 2016 ZX10R. Get an exhaust, filter and ecu flash/tune and that bike will come alive.
I'm in Hanover (in south central PA). I'm up for a ride. Let me know. I'm guessing we're within 2 hours of each other. I have a 2006 ZX-10R. It doesn't have all the electronics like the new bikes, but has nearly the same power. Nice video.
Not even close to having the same amount of power. Modern zx10r push around 210HP at the crank and 180HP at the rear wheel stock form and up to 202HP with stage 1 tune. 2006 zx10r got 174HP at the crank and barely 150HP at the rear wheel. Modern naked bikes pushes more HP than that.
Awesome bike man. I miss my fireblade. Finally got my first Harley-Davidson a CVO, definitely miss the rocket tho but I’ve got kids now so I had to slow it down. Be safe man, most importantly have fun!!!
1st video I've ever watched from you, great video. I'm jealous that you owned an STI, that's my dream car, I'm more into cars but grew up in motocross so I have a great deal of interest in motorcycles too....sick ass bike as well jeez..1000cc gives me the willys 😫
Sweet! Looks similar style to the R3. Nice bike. 848 evo here ✊🏽 Always been a diesel kind of guy! (Ducati lovers will get this comment) Be safe out there brother
Sick bro. Pumped to see some sport bike content. I've been on sport bikes since I was 16 as well. I've had many bikes but can't get rid of my 2011 blue and white gsxr 😎
Awesome bro!! Love the ZX10R's, I heard there is a redesign of the ZX-10 coming in 2021 model, I wonder if they will finally update the instrument cluster and put the full TFT display on it? I bought my 2019 Ninja 650 ABS this past Aug and I've put 2600 miles on it so far. Bought it brand new and I love it . It's my first motorcycle. When I'm ready to step up, I would love to get a ZX-10R, I'm waiting for 2021 model though. However, is that too high of a jump?.. idk yet. I'm getting super comfortable and much faster in the corners on my bike now that I've had for close to a year. In another year or two, I'm hoping to be ready for a liter bike, but we'll see. I'm definitely a Kawi fan all the way, but the MV Agusta Dragster 800's are catching my attention hardcore 😂. Anyway, sweet ass bike, I just subscribed to your channel. ✌️
Just ride the ninja 650 until you feel like the bike is getting slower or until you feel like you wanted more speed and power. Then it's time to change to a new higher cc bike.
Nope upgrading from 650 to zx10r is reasonable jump. My first bike was ninja300 and I got s1000rr year after however don't rush it's much easier to learn your skill on 650. zx10r is very claimed and smooth motorcycle in lower rpm my friend got 2017 zx10rr and I love it so much and it's one of the best superbikes I've ever ridden. Very smooth and easy to ride it got nice button torque for the street but nothing crazy so you won't feel uncomfortable. It's a bit slower on acceleration than typical superbikes but in exchange, it got insane top-end power which will destroy any other superbike in the straight line. Overall very refined bike and very comfortable for superbikes standards.
I jumped from a 16' ninja 650 to an 18' zx10r after about 2 years/7k miles. The zx10r is a pretty friendly bike under 8k rpm. Coming from a 650, you should be just fine.
Take the time to really put the effort in perfecting your skills. It may sound boring, but skill makes riding the 1000cc super-sports much more enjoyable. Most jump to a 1000cc SS and don’t really enjoy it. Just because you spend time to control the bike, rather than enjoy it.
