Hey, thank you for all your tips. I need a new TV, but am scare to death ... to have problems. For your info, my TV remote requires that I SELECT an input, like your HDMI current issue suggest. My remote requires that you push a button on the right, bottom, several times ... to select an input. I had trouble with my very old Pioneer plasma, which works great, but, you MUST get the correct INPUT, or it ... looks like your current issues.

Hi, I'd like to know, do HDR and Dolby Vision disable all image processing? I'd also like your opinion on trumotion? How do you fix it? For sports and movies for example? I liked the fluidity of the Panasonic in IFC I was in minium and I would like to find about the same thing again

Hi Paul thanks for these tips. Can you also cover the simplink function on the CX. I have experienced a random issue. On a fresh boot up, if I long press input button or home button and go to TV dashboard and select USB input to play a video saved on a usb drive, it automatically turns on my Blu-ray player. Blu ray player is actually connected to my AVR and my AVR is then connected via EARC to the HDMI 2 port on my CX. Can you try and recreate this please? I’m not sure this is caused by simplink or not.

I got the CX77 but have a question. I am using optical to go to my Bose as the Bose reciver dosen't support 4K. Is there an easy way to tun the Bose on automatically with the tv? Now I either need to reach for that remote also or go to the Bose input, click options then power. I just wish there was an easier way. The button next to the Power on remote is wasted as being just for Set top boxes. I wish it could turn on home theater!

I have a Sonos ARC and Sub3 attached to my CX. Is the AI Audio tuning using the Magic Remote aware that the Sonos wireless speakers are attached or is the AI Audio tuning only for the CX's internal speakers? Just wondering. And BTW great videos on the CX. Much Thanks Amigo...

Hey Paul, just a question, have you noticed the yellows on the tv are a little mustardy/greenish more then like bright “banana” yellow I suppose? Just got an LG but noticed for example watching the simpsons they seem greenish yellow instead of the bright yellow that’s say on my phone. Thanks !

Been using my C9 as a PC monitor since I got it in Feb (mostly gaming and media watching) and its still as amazing as it was day one. Ive owned quite a few flagship/ high tier tvs and this one is by far the best ive owned. 120hz at 1440p for gaming is great on its own, but with OLED it truly is incredible. I havnt used my 144hz gaming monitor since i got the tv.

It has been a while since we updated our TV so went for the CX model... I thought this would be the best way to future proof us. I am now waiting eagerly for the future to arrive so I can get BBC iPlayer and perhaps even FreePlay apps loaded. Do you know how long it takes for existing apps to catch up with new TVs? Thanks for these tips btw, some good stuff here.

Normally they will come pre installed,but for some reason LG didn't get the agreement in place in time for the catch up services for the UK,well that's what i have heard anyway.So your guess is as good as mine to when we will get them.

Thanks for the tips! After over a month of debating I finally decided to get the LG CX. It's a great TV but I am having a bit of trouble adjusting to the 55 inch though, thinking of possibly exchanging for the 48 inch. I sit around 5 feet away and saw that the 55 was recommended at this distance but its causing me a lot of eye strain. Lol Anyone else ever have this issue? I upgraded from a 40 inch tv so it's a quite a leap in size for me. Lol Going to give it a little more time to see if I adjust and hopefully I get used to it.

Get a 65 inch one for a few weeks and then go back to the 55 inch,it will look tiny.

Hi paul! Do u know how to SCREENSHOT on oledCX ? They removed the zoom button on the magic remote so now i can't find the picture capture buttom

he mr. tech giant is it worth buying a used 4month old 55e9 now in 12/2020 for a $grand? or better a 55nano917na in its sealed box for 900$. or a brand new BX from store for 999%

The Tech Giant i have it on now and my sharpness at 0 🤞🏾 hope this does the trick. I know this isn’t a tv for sports but i also know this tv shouldn’t be blurry out of the box either.

Good morning mate, question. I have the Sony Oled 55AG9, and iam looking for the LG CX 55 or 65 inch. Why the LG, also for my PS5, what is coming this Thursday in the Netherlands. I have 1 consurn, that is the burn in from LG. I don't know if I hold my Sony Oled or step over to this LG CX. Please advise?

Well I have not tested a Sony OLED but I wouldn't worry about burn in on the LG,after all,LG make the OLED panels for Sony.

I brought the 65 inch version of this television. But i cant understand a word of the verbal communication on netflix or amazon prime. i need to turn on subtitles to understand. Can someone help me and tell me why am i facing such an issue? its barely 15 days old.

Great tips. Just picked up an LG OLED. Now re-watching your vids! I have one issue. My Sky Q box is in a cupboard and the LG Magic Mouse is not controlling the Sky Q box as it’s IR not Bluetooth. Is there a solution to this?

The Tech Giant found a way in the end using the IR Blaster cable that came with the GX 😀

@@TheTechGiantRU-vid FYI I worked it out. The GX comes with a IR blaster cable that plugs into the TV and then you place the IR sensors by the Sky Q box. And it works. Now my LG magic remote can control my Sky Q box in my cupboard 😁

I have not contacted LG yet,but I am going to suggest that we all contact them at the same time,will have a bigger impact doing it that way.

The lg oled are beautiful,gr8 picture quality but from back to back panels gets faulty within 13 month..1st was replaced underwarranty now warranty just over few days back and they are demanding 1.35L INR😔. Means spending 2.20L for 65inch and again 1.35L for panel no way.

Techbasics You can use the art gallery app to view the art screensaver without the ‘no signal’ message. I personally disabled the art gallery app for the no signal screen, and it displays a black screen with intermittent firework particles instead.

Depends what areas you are talking about,but overall there isn't much difference between the two.

@@jamieslater8991 its a lie because the c9 does have raised black issues in dolby vision and hdr not to the extent as the c10 the c9 does have earc issues as well the c9 still is a lottery in terms of getting a solid panel just because u haven't had issues with yours isn't saying much tbh. I went through 4 c9s and all had issues and comparing a year and a half old tv to a tv (c10) which hasn't even been out 6 months yet is even worse of a comparison 💯

X9500h will win probably. Cox x9500h comes from sony va,full array direct led, triluminous display and has dolby vision.

No worries, I eventually found it :) great channel, I've bought my 55 same time you got your 65, enjoying the vids My one issue is Sonos voice, or my control, when turning the TV on, won't always kick Sky Q on, I get a box opening you have to click yes to get Sky Q out of stand by, kind of defeats the object of using Sonos voice to turn on the TV, of you here a fix would be great! The shortcuts have been great, speedial back to Sky out of an app is the best, was driving me nuts
