Great review and analogy! I too have suffered from the Miata curse but have reversed it. I’m picking up my 2021 Polymetal gray RF this Monday. Thanks for making me even more excited about my purchase, good work!
Hey man, awesome video! keep it up, in Mexico it cost $26k usd for the RF without the bbs, brembo and recaro pack, (but our income is way lower hahah) just graduated and I am saving for one, hopefully next year I can get one!, again, great review!
No joke I bought that exact car from napleton two weeks ago, in the middle of a damn blizzard. Cant wait to actually drive it soon lol. Stored in a garage for the time being. And the curse includes a third option, selling your Miata to buy a newer one; exactly what I did.
I agree.. I'm not over sized but the bolsters on the bottom of the seat push into my legs on the Recaro seats. It needs to be wider. I kinda got use to it but it is narrow. I was thinking about leaving some kind of weight on the seat to seperate the bolsters while it's in storage.
I want this car because my first car was a Del Sol and Hondas never going to make anything nearly as cool and this is as close as I’m ever going to get.
Great review! Your videos deserve more attention. I hope to get a RF end of the year hopefully. Also do you know what spoiler the red miata had on? After seeing that Idk if I want something subtle like on the appearance package or get something like that
I watched your 2008 NC Miata review as well. How do you compare the NC with the ND? I am 6' tall and the NC was the only one that I seemed to have enough room inside. For the record, I have never driven either. But, my first car was a 1974 Datsun 260Z which I loved to drive.
I think height wise NC or ND should be okay, minus the Recaro's in this video. Performance wise the ND is 10/10 better than the NC. Feels tighter, more nimble, and more fun to drive. However a well spec'd NC can be found for less than half the price of this ND. No matter what, all Miatas are fantastic!
Man im so lucky i can go buy groceries on foot and have been doing it liek that for years. My MX-5 Rf will be with me in March next year. Im keeping my old rusty Golf4 with a trailer hitch tho as long as it can drive. Costs next to nothing to maintain, and also I can do most of it by myself. Why not have both? Keep a trusted rust bucket for practicality stuff and daily the MX-5 RF for its pretty good fuel efficiency.
Sadly here in Europe we don't get the BBS package...something that i would have liked but then again i don't have that kind of money anyway , my car is cheaper than that package XD
SPS is having a pretty good offer for Rays, which look better imo. The brembos....well i dont see why you would need better brakes on the miata other then tracking it. And lets be honest most of the ppl wont track it.
