Got distracted away from the car review by that Monaco Gulf on John's wrist 😂😂 but yes, the JCW Countryman is quite a head-turner when I see it on the roads! and 8:28 🤔🤔

You are sport on one my experience driving my Countryman S. Sometimes it lag, at times it's almost immediate. That's the price to pay with all this electronic throttle and autoboxes. I think the JCW uses the Asin 8 speed for higher torque. The new facelifted countryman uses 7 speed dsg...

Oh my, those with "mico-adjustment" on highway type of handling is scary to drive on daily imo. Anyway, Jon seems to like things with history and heritage, the cars he chose in the talk show, and the watch he is wearing (TH Monaco Gulf) are both classics and iconic

2s lag is due to traction ctrl system, car is checking to ensure your safety. I thk most conti hv this at comfort mode but sport will lessen it

is not turbo lag and power is there. all conti cars (alot brand) nowadays set/tune into this respond slow "3 to 5 mili sec, not 2 sec" due to safety issue in winter/rain or wet road, else will lose control.

2 second throttle response?!! I’ve got one. It’s quick off the line without launch control. Clearly the reviewer hasn’t got the faintest clue what they’re talking about.
