This sled does not handle as poorly as the video shows after setting your shocks properly. With the Walker Evans adjustable piggy backs are you want to set them medium soft to start then adjust one click at a time towards hard until the ski lift goes away. The only sled I have ridden that handles better is the current Switchback XCR and the new Matryx.

Polaris has used there same primary clutch the P-85 drive for like 30 years hasnt changed

Hi, for use mostly ON-trail, how would you rate the 2017 (or newer) Assault? I'm thinking of buying one. I'm a big heavy guy and 121's and 129's bottom out easily when I ride so I'm looking for a strong rear suspension. How would this compare with a 137 Pro-S or XC for a big guy like me?

I would much rather have a more trail-oriented sled. This is a handful to ride fast in the trails. You can do it, it's just not as effortless as something made for tight trails.

You can get a heavier rear spring for your sled and adjust it properly

ITS because of the way he has it set up so he can do the big wheelies if he set it up properly for trail the corner ski lift would all most be totally gone I own one and set it up that's why i know

If you want to eliminate ski lift on trail adjust shock pre load, I can corner this sled just as well as any other sled 144 or 137...it is a Great trail sled as well as back country it’s all in the setup.
