@@masoncayaban9790 formla drift drivers are super skilled. I am amazed of how the car preformed from first try. Usually, after many testing, a project car will still have many issues.

Is it an issue for you drivers when the cabin starts to fill up with tire smoke like at 7:23? Or is it easy to not focus on it?

That's because Toyota Gazoo Racing made the kit. Not some inexperienced company . The team also understands how to fit up body panels almost as well as a A tech in the collision industry.

@@despizedicon basically a foctory team of course all there efforts are, even nascar TGR basically runs Gibbs along with the 2 other cars. Then again the FD Ford mustang RTR is also sort of a factory team.

Most factory component that could be week point of this build, relative to this power number is already changed like electronic, diff, turbo, exhaust, injectors, fuel pump, rubber bearing, clutch, gearbox etc. This car it is not even close to factory car. The limit of this build is unknown it has so much potential. It is build with safe margin almost all components are overbuild which is good think over all. This block casting is good for 2000 HP with cylinder sleeves but all internal components has to be change to hit this number especialy head will not flow enough. Almost all gears are surface harden so something will brake overtime.

They had everything redone. If you want to know what might fail on a b58 go to the roots of its development. Way back to the n54 and n55 motors. The sparks and coils always fail. High pressure and low pressure pumps and crankcase pressure when boosting. It also depends on your tune and what you bottleneck if you don’t mod appropriately for your tune. (I drive an e92 650rwhp n54)

The difference is that ain't a real Toyota. Most of it is a BMW Z4. Should compare it with the '20 BMW Z4.

David Radtke yes but since it’s a new motor almost no faults in a z4 motor The faults are all the chassis body of the z4 The supporting mods as well which are similar to n54 and n55 tech

​ David Radtke It is like Toyota Supra MK5 have BMW Z4 engine and drivetrain swap with some needed modifications. This car is not amazing but still good to overdrive other cars. For me new Supra looks better when was presented as a concept car. Especially back of Toyota FT-1 Concept looks more appealing. For me this car is not worth sticker price. If I could afford to buy new Japanese sports car from a dealer I probably spend this money on new Nissan GTR which is truly Japanese car. Toyota can not use own designs engine because they can not beat the rest of Germany owned big concern Volkswagen Group in this price point. Volkswagen Group have almost all market. All existing drivetrain system are develop by one manufacture so only one way to trully compete in this market is by providing new own technical solutions. So if Toyota want to stay in game and beat others they should start by trying to use the new design like in Ready Variable Compression Engine in INFINITI VC-Turbo Engine or Freevalve system in Koengisegg engine. For me this generation of cars should be running on Ethanol from factory. This kind of fuel is better for performance and better for emission, diesel fuel should stay only on trucks or boats to transport heavy loads. All new emission regulations are only political game waste of time. The biggest players always winning this game. All new designed petrol engine have always same problem for decade which is kinetic energy losses for heat energy. All petrol engine are not efficient enough, not even close to 50% efficiency. Electric cars are not efficient too, they weight too much, weight of charged battery or uncharged battery is almost the same, power cells have short life time, limited rare materials are used for production, production cost of one car is too big. For me solution like system start stop in turbo petrol engine it is the best way to murder new car parts which will caused more emission and more waste over time. All manufactures stop challenging themselves to create new solutions or providing new technology starting from creating new better concepts from the ground. For me factory cars are boring they are compromise of cost labor. For all ecologist the cars are not problem, communication structure is a failure. All cars spends most of its time staying in one place parked or waiting in traffic rather then moving so why we should focus on emission when the problem is not there.

@@youtubespectator669 I work at a car factory and this is called the side outer. This side gets welded on top of the other sides. You can buy these sides from the dealership and they'll take them from the factory before they are put on the car

I'm a collision tech also. 20 years Experience. The quality of the build and body kit is nice. The lines are probably better than most backyard wannabe shops that dont care about fit. Or shops that dont do heavy hits and have real understanding of pulling and metal repair. This car should do well once the world let's up on being overly cautious.

papadakis's level of modification on the b58 engine is not really achieveable for most casual car guys. he has a full service team behind him working on that thing. but even stock out of the showroom, the engine is solid.

Forza just always fucks up car sounds now even NFS Heat kind of fucked up the B58 sound, the B58 sounds similar to the 2jz/RB26 maybe they need to mix sounds from 2jz's, Fully built B58's and RB26'S that would be insane 😂, lol but maybe they need to record how papadakis Supra sounds and put it in every game.

@@brandonl6877 s55 turbo sound pretty same as b58 turbo. U can search in yt "andrius vasiliauskas drift" , his car got s55 turbo . And car's sound only depends what exhaust headers it have , search about uel and el subaru headers , how it changing sound , same with other engines.

@@Pavovere97 That's partially true but definitely not the full story. The b58 manifold is vastly dissimilar from a 2j, while sounding quite alike. Meanwhile RB has a totally different sound even when setup identically to a 2j or 1j. Has a lot to do with induction / valvetrain dynamics too.

Izz Din oh I absolutely would, but waiting for my warranty to run out first. It’s already SOOO fantastically balanced between chassis/suspension/brakes/engine that I really don’t have the motivation or desire to alter it yet. It’ll take quite some time to get tired of it!

@@Levi-sv6xn Because there was a huge backlash against this new Supra, due to comparisons with the classic 2JZ and the new one being more of a BMW car. Toyota had decades of tradition behind this car, and couldn't release anything less than a car that could achieve enormous amounts of power with ease, like 2JZ was! So, by creating this project successfully, they saved Toyota's reputation (in terms).

@@stealthisdkey The whole discussion of the fanbois in youtube comments is very stupid. The Mk IV Supra wasnt the super car everybody is dreaming of. It was a comfortable GT car, way more expensive and less performant then a C4 Corvette back in the day. And if I remember right the C4 Corvette was the worst of all Corvette generations. Yes, with heavy modding you could make it a 1,000 hp monster, no question. But those werent normal street cars anymore, and they breaked down constantly, and you had to rebuild and replace bits and bops. I cant see whats bad about a BMW engine. Nor can I see whats wrong with the Mk V Supra. Its a great car, outperforming its predecessor in every aspect. Except for the lag of a manual option it is an overall nice car with a good styling and people should be happy that we have two more very good sports cars on the market (Supra and Z4). Dont think we will see that anytime soon. The fact that the Mk IV Supra was overhyped because of a stupid nonsense movie makes me really sad. Nobody of those crybabies did drive a Mk IV Supra in the first place, but somehow complaining of how the new one doesnt match up. Instead they are buying their Civics, Corollas and SUVs.

@@Gentleman...Driver I agree with u If you're considering the stock version. But, nothing in this world becomes so famous for nothing. That engine is special, and this car is one of the few that its market value is raising due to the whole search for 2JZs. You can at least agree with me that the 2JZs are something else when we consider budget vs HP.

The B58 sounds like its not breaking a sweat While 2JZs with the same build sound slike they're at their limit.
