Thank you for the vídeo. I'm trying to find an alternative mirror from ali (the originals here are imppssible to buy), and need to know how are the originals, because I didn't know if that end was removable or not. Thanks !
Thanks for taking the time to put this video together! I'm in the midst of installing the same mirrors on my 2016 Bonneville T120, and I'm wondering about the throttle side...Did you reuse the spacer in your installation to make sure there was enough free play on the throttle grip? Or did you leave the spacer out? I'm having trouble getting the right mirror to grab onto the bar. There's just not enough surface contact for it to grab as solidly as the left side.
I bought this same type of bar end mirror system for my 18' Street Triple R and when I use the friction ring just as you have, I torque down on it pretty good, but it still spins. I called Triumph and they said this kit is not approved for use in the US? I returned this same kit about 1.5 yrs. ago for the same reason. Not sure if I really need to torque it down to 10Nm, but I can try that and see what happens. I should not have to torque down on a bolt that much though and when something feels wrong.....
I have a 2020 Bonnie T120 and I can not find the attachment to install on the end of my bars, which has heated grips. Its a tiny diameter so I need a attachment to place over it before attaching mirrors.
