Cool man. I'm new to your channel but really dig it. I have an 04' Avalanche and really love it. Looks like yours minus the stump bump. I bought it 5 years ago. Lucky enough that there is no rust. Over the years just been doing basic maintenance and repairs, learning as I go. It came with a 3" lift and there is some weird rattle noise coming from the front that I can't pinpoint. Would like to do a 4" or 6" lift and maybe will end the rattle. Keep the videos coming. Looking forward to what you do next.

Glad to hear you really enjoy yours! There’s so many parts up front with these ifs vehicles it could be anything. I know some of the smaller lifts have odd angles that put more stress on parts. The 6” on my claims to keep all the same geometry to make sure parts last longer. So far I haven’t had much trouble with mine. Good luck pin pointing the issue!

I am so glad to see you back ! I totally understand what your doing and it makes good sense to do so . I am doing the same thing with my TJ , just saving money and buying parts for it as I can . Some of the parts I'm saving for are quite expensive though so it will take sometime to reach my goal . I enjoy all of your videos no matter if its fabricating , working on your Avalanche , Redoing your garage , and most important of all working on your YJ and going off road. Keep up the great work and I will be looking forward to future videos from you . Until next time take care and be safe .

Good to see you back bro! We gotta get you some sponsors! Have you reached out companies to see about collaborating and reviewing? Like the rough country suspension. Also, stoked that you're going more to the Avalanche, thats what brought me to you and I mainly watch. Anything you do, no matter how big or small I would upload also. You never know who it might help.

I really appreciate the awesome support thank you! Maybe someday I’ll be fully dedicated but I feel bad asking too much from companies. I make videos when I can and can’t be tied down to too much. Don’t wanna set expectations too high that I can’t meet! I may not be doing much now but the channel is gonna keep goin! Expect some more activity closer to fall. Thanks again!!

@@jtmoffroad I really do think the 2.5 is underrated....gearing is over looked....if I had the 2.5 and wanted more power, I would just turbo it...

Glad you still around RU-vid! Do what u need in life. This channel can benefit us all if you don’t get burned out. We are happy if your channel can pay for you parts while we are learning and getting some solid entertainment. I would say focus on projects that you don’t see on RU-vid as much, and don’t worry about filming fluid changes and other thing that everyone else has posted millions of times. Keep up the great work!

Good to see your alive and kick'n. Question 4 U. I have a 04 Z71 Avalanche and need to replace the shocks. I noticed that you installed some Ranchos. Which model did you use? How do you like them so far? Is there another set of shocks you'd recommend besides the ones you installed? A little info: I bought my Avi new in late 2003 and it has 260K. Mechanically all original except a level kit and 3 rear ends. I do tow sometimes and like that capability. I don't do any recreational 4 wheeling. I'm looking for a very good, comfortable driving set of shocks that have very good handling characteristics. Anyone else out there that has any suggestions please feel free to reply! Best of luck to you and your goals for the rest of the year. FYI... Checkout the four-wheel videos of crawlers at Courtright Reservoir in California. One of the most beautiful lakes in the California Sierra Nevada mountains.

Another channel I watch has a subscription for $1 a month to help with builds and equipment. You could give that a shot. I would subscribe.

Wow thanks! I have such a hard time asking people for money I don’t think I could do it unless I had some really killer projects and uploaded more frequently/ had more to offer. But knowing that people would pay to support me is more fuel to keep me going! Your comment is greatly appreciated!
