Hello, I did this swap and replaced pump as well as the steering shaft. I am having an issue with how stiff the steering is at low speed. Did you change the pump pulley to a smaller diameter??
Anyway i can get a stabilizer kit for my 05 trailblazer? Ive lifted mine to the maxx 2.5” rough country level lift kit, thrown on sum 33”s for a total of 5” of lift my wheels are definitely oversized for this thing and bump steer is horrible. Any help would be amazing
Hey dude. I am from the rust belt and brought a nice rusty truck down to Tennessee! Not much worth saving but the engine, transmission and interior stuff. Going to be part out a 12th gen f150. Just wanted to say hey gor whenever you get back on RU-vid.
Best way is taking out cross member jacking up trans then lowering it down enough to get your hand up there. Its tough but you can do it.A lot of extra work but I don’t know any other way.
Not sabotage…just your typical Dorman part. I put one of their coolers on my 2002 Ram. A month later one of the welds sprung a leak. The fluid got sucked into the fan and slung all over the engine compartment. Initially liked the Dorman cooler because it was an improved stacked plate design but never again.
Just got done unclogging my cars evap hoses to the canister then I unclogged myself 🚽 since I had 3 beef and bean burritos for lunch at my job. I hope my issue is fixed. Thanks for the video.
Nice video. I have a 2004 Toyota Tundra SR5. I had to replace my brake booster because it had a leak inside the cab area. I purchased an aftermarket booster from Autozone but believe it might have been defective. Ever had air coming out between cylinder and booster? I got a code for running lean and it's all I could find that might be causing the problem. Do you think it's better to get an OEM part? What are your thoughts?
I use a 3 jaw multi filter fit type filter remover that just fits between the aluminium. Anyway it goes on the end of a 3/8 4 or more inch wratchet extension. Crack it, walk away, do other stuff like tire pressure check then rag spin it off with your nitrile gloves. Hope this tip helps.
Did you purchase standard replacement control arms for this or ones that accommodated the lift? I see the caster/camber plates on the upper control arms.
Have 05 Colorado, code 0455, change purge valve, tested it, tested good, light came back on, pulled vent solenoid, tested it, was bad, changed it out, light came back on,!!uhg it was a bad ground wire going from computer to vent solenoid! Good luck babe
@3:10 Thank you for showing how that boot works. I replaced 2 OTR boots before, but those boots were under 2 circle clips each, for each boot one larger clip on the bottom and one smaller clip on the top. Now on another of out cars the ripped boot is attached permanently on the bottom and on the tot it has a small circular clip. I though to glue the slit in that boot w/Gasgacinch Gasket Sealer, and after apply Self Fusing Rescue tape, but I see you just cut off that bad boot and put a new one, though no metal ring on the bottom. I have spare boots including same as shown in the film. Thank you again.
I changed mine on my chevy silverado I just took a grinder to the passenger floor cut a window right at the fluid lines and changed them easy peezy nice and easy.
Hey man I just picked a used car trailer and the trailer tire have some camber while hard turning on uneven terrain with a load. Is this “normal” for a tandem axle? Or are my axles bent? Otherwise the tire drive straight down the road with and without a load. Any help would be appreciated
Ad page should say , AVALANCHE drives to a place where off roading has taken place at some point or another , but avalanche decided it actually didnt really want to even consider off roading until around the 17 minute marker !! But then avalanche decided to just kind of not do anything because avalanche was hoping the driver would either shit or get off the pot ,or just avalanche on home and return with jeep instead ? Lol...lol.....lol... Good lord ive never seen 20 minutes of absolute nothing !!! Ha ha !! Avalanche says we can tell he was cutting , but i disagree with avalanche because he didnt cut anything at all , if avalanche wanted to cut anything , id say that avalanche should cut this video and just go avalanche another non time or non day or non next week ,avalanche put in 4x4 at last 3 minutes of avalanche doing nothing but speaking english to everyone , lol...lol... AT THE END OF THE DAY ...AVALANCHE DIDN'T GO OFF ROADING ...AVALANCHE SIMPLY WANTED TO BAIT US ALL INTO A CLICK ,KNOWING FULL WELL AVALANCHE WASNT AT ALL INTENDING TO DO ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE TO WHAT AVALANCHE COULD DO IN 4X4 MODE !! Those trucks are surprisingly capable in a lot of 4x4 situations, except for this one !!! HA HA HA ...LOL...LOL..HA HA
I had a nice 2015 F150, $20,000 pickup that was really making a weird whining noise, my mechanic told me the motor was shot and it wasn't worth fixing, I ended up having to get a new truck and sold the old one to mechanic .
