Great car but even more envious of the well maintained roads. We pay a lot of cash here in the UK for ‘Road Tax’ but there’s so many pot holes it’ll shake your fillings loose. I dream of driving on roads like you have.
We are really lucky with the great quality of roads here. However, we also do pay for it plenty of 'Road Tax'. It also depends on it being petrol, diesel or electric car. It's based on the weight and the fuel. This S3 costs about €80 in 'Road Tax' a month. Diesel cars that weigh about the same cost upward of €180 a month. Roads are great but at a cost 😉
Thanks! Appreciate it! Regarding which petrol you should use that's a good question. I think it should be fine running it one 95. However, more performance oriented cars always do best running on 98. I'd stick with 98 to be sure 😉

Bump. Thanks for the video, man, good work. Seems like a nice well rounded car if you are looking for something small, convenient, high quality, high-tech, and reasanobly fast without looking too much show off wannabe. Costs a bit too much tho :/
Thanks! It for sure is a nice rounded car. And indeed pretty expensive as we are used to with Audi. Maybe a nicely specced Golf R would suit the job just as well. However, this one is a lot more under the radar for sure!
It is indeed interesting how they did that. It might not be correct but it does in fact not sound bad. It's better than having no engine noise cabin I think.
Fair enough haha! Compared to the RS3 it is however 'only' 310 HP. It's still very fast though! Weight also plays a role in this for sure, 68HP wouldn't be enough these days any more
It's all fake sadly enough. I do think it's better to have some exhaust noise through the speaker than no exhaust noise at all. These damn OPF filters mute the cars so much
MK8 GOlf R for sure is a much more playful car. I would expect people in the market for one of these to prefer the more understated look and sound compared to a Golf 8R. I would, personally, prefer to Golf too!
