S6 and 3.0 bi-turbo diesel engines on the A6 are the same. Here in Germany, the S6 has the same engine as the 330hp 6 cylinder diesel. If you want it more sporty, buy an used s6 or S5 with the V8 4.0 tfsi
Can't pick an S5 Sportback because I park outside and winters will mess with the frameless windows. I like the SQ5's comfort and spacing, but it's not as nimble as the S5 when I'm feeling frisky and want to do some spirited driving. The S6 is dope because it has the RS5 engine, with the comfort of the SQ5 in a way, but it's detuned from the factory so it's similar to the S5 in performance, but not. There's always the S4, but the back seats are too small-too compact, and I personally like more spacious cars... Only thing left is to tune the S6, or moving out somewhere with indoor parking, and get an S5 Sportback... But the problem is that the S6 and S5 with similar mileage have a 10k difference. And the one I really want is the S5... Lord. I wish the car enthusiast bug never bit me so I can settle for some Kia Forte 😂🤦♂
Pretty slow for the price, an m340i would gap this but this is more on the comfort side I suppose. My dad's got an sq5 and had a q5 before i honestly can't feel a huge difference with these S models, kinda deceiving for the price tag :/
The M340i is in a different size class. From a dig, the M340i is noticeably faster, especially if launch control isn't used on both. I wonder how the race would go from 50mph? The S6 moves very well once at speed! Although, I do think the M340i will win. I agree about the Q5/SQ5. The difference between them in real life is much smaller than you'd think.
It sucks Audi dropped the 4.0tt for this 2.9tt in a S6 lol, that should have only been for the S4 and S5. I went and test drove one today, and its really fun to drive, and it alot newer than my 2.7tt Audi B5 S4, even though mine is around the same HP, the power curve in the S6 feels weird, to my super linear power band from 3000-6000rpm

@@mqbr22I'd love to see them side by side against an M550i. They are a little over half a second apart in the ideal 0-60 times. How close will it be off a 50 roll though?
Audi killed this car when it removed the V8. They should just discontinue it. Plus these Audi A6/S6 interiors are ugly. I miss the older audis from the late 2000s
@@DMCarReviews did you find m40i BMWs to be much more responsive off the line? The G20 330i I used to drive also had a slight delay and hence delivered underwhelming acceleration impressions 😬
@@Denny.B.The M40i's are instant off the line, and rocket out. The 30i is fine too. There is more of a delay, but I think it's still less present than in the Audi's. I drove a 430i, and if you tap the accelerator light and quick it goes without any noticeable delay.
