@@1antoniette it really depends on where you live if you live somewhere where it snows a lot I can see that I can see awd being a great advantage. The other nice thing about awd drive is the resale value is much higher. The real question I think is budget if you can afford comfortably then it’s always better to have it than not and hopefully you’ll make some of that money back when you sell it
Love it! Thanks for putting this together. I have a high-roof, long 250 AWD crew on order and can't frickin' wait! Of note, the 150/250/350 designation refers more to payload, rather than towing. For example, the low roof-150 crew has a max loaded trailer weight of 6,300. The 350 tows the same, but ups the payload by about 500 pounds. The roof heights, wheelbases, AWD/RWD, and randos like the speaker count and dual battery option also play a role. The more ish, the less payload. Something I learned in my journey - if you're towing, the tongue weight (the poundage *ha* placed on the van/truck's hitch from your trailer) takes away from your available payload. In my case, I'll be schlepping a motorcycle in the Transit and a travel trailer behind it. Find a truck to do both? Easy. Identifying the right van is a challenge. The Nissan NV V8 can pull Godzilla from the ocean while hauling Mothra in the back, but Nissan can't decide if it wants to build new ones. Pre-owned are rarely available and cost a grip if they are. If my pinkies are up, the interior is a tad spartan. The V8, while beastly, is old, and consumes without care for the inevitably one-week-long hangover of a late-30s burnout. [fidgets with collar] The MB Sprinter is a solid choice, but the 1500/2500/3500's towing capacity is 5,000. My travel trailer's max gross weight is 5,000. That's cutting it too close for my liking. *Squid Games* and only the 3500HD and 4500 remain. While both can tow 7,500, I wanted four-wheels of power; the 4x4 version tops out at 5,000. Okay I died laughing reading this comment 🤩🤣🤣🤣. Thank you for the insight I never do much towing but I’m sure many subscribers will be doing just that. I never knew the Nissan NV was so powerful. I think you made a great choice with the ford transit I assume you went with the ecoboost option?
IMHO: a human body is great for scale, but for precision a well calibrated standard unit instrument in the form of a tape measure has more value. Major dimensions can be obtained from a makers spec sheet but those lack the minutia, which is what videos like this one would have been useful for. For example, what is the width of the vain interior at different heights. What is the height difference under the roof vs under a beam, what is the depth of the wall double wall section and does it allow passage of stuff (wiring) from front to back, how much room is there in front of the wheel well to the front or behind to the back. How comfortable are the seats, how utilitarian is the dash board. There are topics a spec sheet won't give but I would expect from a review or test drive video.

Does the passenger version have an option for windows that will open? Aftermarket windows maybe? That would be pretty important for a campervan conversion.
I believe your specs for the engines are incorrect. Off Ford's website they list the Ecoboost engine at 310hp at 5000rpms. I wish it were 375hp though!
Thank you for the video. The AWD feature would be nice. Many Expeditors have the high top extended eco boost engine. With limited problems. Could you please not wear your sunglasses? They are very distracting. Blessing to you.
