I was lucky already had a DynoJet PV3 from tuning my CanAm Ryker 900. All I had to do was pay for another DynoJet license $250 and then talked to Ray Parker and got a tune to match my mods for a whooping $100 nice and cheap!!!
Nice! If you add a Full exhaust and Air Filter do you need to do anything else to the ecu? Or is that when a fuel controller comes In play? Sorry for the Rookie question but I figured if I don’t ask I’ll never know lol
The fuel controller just piggybacks on the ECU this is actually changing the air fuel and timing inside of the ECU so it's better. Fuel controllers just intercept the signal from the ECU and change it.
How is the power with this bike? is it good enough for most people. Im interested in the 850 and 570 renegade as well as the 850 scrambler. Thinking at the 570s price point if its more than adequate the 850 would be a waste.. Thank you...
I think you'd be more than happy with it You can have a real good time with it. it's got a lot of mid-range power and the top speed is in the '70s. once you put it in low gear it's got a lot of low end grunt as well. I think it's a great machine. Now the 850 and the 1000 are absolute animals.
@@OdysseyOffroad Alright, kinda what I figured. 1000 cc you can never use to its full potential on the trails.. Ive had a raptor 660 and scrambler 500 in the past. yz250 and yzf450 dirt bikes through the years. So just wasnt sure what to expect out of the 570.. These quads are so expensive now and I havent ridden any modern sport utility..
You ain't kidding they sure are expensive. It's not going to be like the performance from those sport quads you've had in the past but it's a fun machine for sure I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I wonder if americans (idk if you are from america but you definitly don't look from europe since this model is no longer avaiable here ^^) can-ams are tuned differently from country to country (different polution rules ?) because mine (europe model) don't look to be "starving" from fuel or whatever, it run very smooth and not even that hot (can't feel the hot while riding in jean, can feel a bit of warm when slow driving). But I really want to flash my ecu too for multiple reason : flexfuel (E85 half the price of unleadead 98), in theory even cooler and more hp, more topspeed, maybe less consumption .... How do you estimate the power gain ? 3-4 hp or more like 10-12 ? How much difference in acceleration for a 0-60 ? Change are inexistant in low end ? Only mid end ? I am glad I found your video, nearly nobody do video about tuning ECU on smaller machine, only 1000cc... Thank you for that
Yes here in America. All the machines now come tuned very very lean in order to get them across the border and sold in America that includes even the Yamahas. Its so crazy.
Would u guys have a tune for a can am outlander 650 I have a ejk fuel tuner and a mbrp exuast and was looking for a bit more power do u guys think u guys will be able to raise my speed and my gov
@@OdysseyOffroad sounds good thank you looking forward to getting a flash so when we do this I just disconnect my computer from the atv and send it to Him then he tunes it then sends it back and then install it back ?
Im a Sport quad guy at heart, nothing like it so iI love the Raptor. The Renegade is a great comfortable go anywhere trail ride. Its a great machine. Two totally different animals.
@@OdysseyOffroad thanks man....my buddy is sending out his ecu this week to get tuned on his 570 renegade. He just needs more top speed and more low end wheelie power
