I prefer using Carplay. The only good thing about having an on-board Navigation is that it'll still work when your phone doesn't have cellular service... Or if you can't use your phone for some reason.
Seriously I don't know a single person that could careless about inboard navigation when 99% Google maps and Apple maps are vastly superior and they are already married to your phone with your information.
Notice how general motors always seems to barely compete with their competitors? They either don't do enough, or they try too hard and screw it up . Do it right the first time and you'll gain more value/ ground/ customers. If you have to fire a few people to make a point, do it . Don't be afraid to compete. And holy crap, 35 k for a tiny crossover with a 1.3 liter ant heart of an engine? If anyone buys that thing for this ludicrous asking price, they are looney tunes.
I just bought the fully loaded AWD RS and the sticker was $32,500 with a $2,250 incentive, so it was around $30k out the door. I'm trying to figure out who's gouging these guys for another $3k??? I'm a GM guy, so curious on how the 3 banger holds up! 5 year, 60k powertrain warranty is nice also...
I just bought my Kia Seltos last weekend and boy do i love it and the features on it are amazing! I saw the Chevy Trailblazer in person for the first time a few days ago with the same color as pictured in the video and its so gorgeous in person. I'm def not a chevy guy but it did make me turn my head lol. But after watching this video i'm glad I went with the Kia. The Chevy interior and dash is so basic and boing compared to Seltos!
These two car manufacturers should of partnered to create a great entry level CUV...the exterior looks good on the trailblazer but the drivetrain, comfort, interior and infotainment system is better on the Seltos...a three cylinder engine is naturally unbalanced...with a turbo?!?? With an RS badge?
I just bought the fully loaded Trailblazer RS AWD as in this comparison, and the sticker was $32,500, so I'm not sure who's selling it over $35k??? I'll take my Chevy ove Kia anyday...
Got a Seltos SX last month...very pleased with it. And it _is_ zippy! I was originally looking at the Subaru Crosstrek, but the Seltos is more for the money at this price point.
GM saves money by using a smaller displacement, three cylinder engine and stresses it out more to do the job of a four. Funny how the cost savings isn't passed on to the consumer. You pay more for less.
There is no "more stress" on the engine. The car is built around the engine, not the other way around. I test drove the Trailblazer and it's a solid vehicle. My 2018 Cruz lags on 4 cylinders with a turbo, the trailblazer has much, much less lag and a lot of torque.
@@iClone316 Yeah, auto parts stores sell "lifetime warranty" parts also, but you spend a "lifetime" of returning them because they fail on a regular basis...
If we compare lower end models the Chevy will give you the more powerful engine though. Chevy probably ditch their four bangers because they are all junk, which was a smart thing to do.
chevy bought the 2018 hyundai kona and tried to copy it....except their engines, warranties, handling, mpg, acceleration is no match. p.s. gm went to 3 cyl because their 4 cyl engines get lousy mpg.

"...Chevrolet commissioned independent research company Ipsos to conduct a survey. The details specify that reliability is defined as "the percentage of vehicle owners who reported they have not repaired or replaced any vehicle components in the past 12 months (excluding fluids, filters and those related to accident/collision)."... "...The survey sent out 840,979 letters to 2015 model-year vehicle owners, with time in service starting December 2014 through June 2015. Robert, Robert, Robert, Canadian dollars are totally separate from American dollars and their value isn't the same. The price isn't higher because of taxes necessarily, but because it's in Canadian dollars.
It’s funny because when GM was making vehicles in the U.S. everyone flocked to imports like Toyota or Honda. GM then moved their resources into markets where their cars were selling well (South Korea and China) and now we’re suddenly begging them to come back? There’s nobody else to blame for GM moving out of North America except for the people that turned their backs on the company in 2010
