If there’s something I love and admire from Chevy is that, is that they keep it super simple like a truck should be... no 12 inch display, no tachy roygbiv ambient lighting, no unnecessary gear knob, simple simple simple and it still has today’s modern features
I have the '20 and this '21 is the exact same truck as it and the '19. If I was in the market for this truck, I would save the new truck $$$ and find a '19 or '20 with low mileage at a lower price. The High Country is a damn good truck and I'm glad I made the purchase a year ago.
I just took delivery about two months ago of what is almost identical to the truck in this video, except it's a loaded '20 LTZ with the added black label package- it's basically a high country without the high country badge. He said the sticker of his vehicle was about $68k- my Silverado with the beautiful pearl white option was stickered just over $65k. Just about the best vehicle I've ever had parked in my driveway- I absolutely love this thing!! FYI I work at F-150 assembly as a dyno operator here in Dearborn Michigan... So obviously I drive them daily. I'm certainly not a fan of the rivalry of Ford vs Chevy- it's pointless & childish. Both the F-150 & Silverado are made in the USA, both are top sellers in the USA and all Americans should be proud of that and unbiased. My opinion the only half ton pickup that Ford can compete with my Silverado is the F-150 limited- saying that, the f150 limited is stickered around 80k- average about an extra 15k. My honest opinion not worth it. My Silverado is all truck with a luxury velvet edge that makes driving an absolute joy. I have no problems with the interior, but when they further upgrade the interior in 2022, it literally will be the Cadillac of pickup trucks. Good going Chevy!
The newest thing I see most is, how extremely high priced it is. This truck is just a dream for the average hard working American. But nice truck for the very wealthy man. Should sale good in Beverly Hills Ca.
My friend has a 19 high country. I love the umber interior. Really nice truck but I don’t like it as a much as a limited ram. If the ram had a larger engine option with a 10 speed transmission I feel it would be game over.
The engine and transmission are great I had zero complaints with mine. Buyer beware though the leaf spring are much softer then the 16-18 trucks. I’ve had 2 F150s and 2 Silverado’s 6.2 and the 19 had a lot more squat with the same weight/trailer then the rest. Traded the 19 in for a 20 Ram Limited so far so good!
1500 High Country my man with the 6.2. Something about that Chevy still keeping me Pullin I love the Rams and the Ford to any truck you get I would enjoy the content regardless you're the man
I have a 14 Chevy high country and 1. The interior is very high quality and needs no upgrade. I have been driving all the new trucks and when I come back to mine it’s still the most quiet and comfortable. I think Chevy needs to upgrade it’s Infotainment system just a bit but not over kill like the other big screens which I think are to distracting. Plus a lot of them have no really home button or good Home Screen view.
@@ericcantley8425 Yes, I have owned five Silverados I have one currently 2014. Love the drivetrain always dependable. Only one problem so far bad number three Fuel injector. I like the outside of the 2021. Just needs a better interior.
Very nice looking truck but $68k?? And towing capacity only 9,300 ?? Hmm I rather go for the ford super duty diesel $58k and towing capacity its around 25,0000lbs Or even more depends on the engine options!!
@@leedanielson7452 a couple? I had 2 RAM's. My 14 RAM 3500 still had 4 recalls on it and waiting for parts when I traded it in. As of last year I was still receiving recalls on it.
20k more than my LT......cooled seats, HUD, leather, extra camera angles and extra safety feature....idk, I just don't see the value to go high country

I hope the DFM doesn’t cause the problems AFM has caused. My daughter’s 6.2L with AMF just left the dealership with a $3,000 bill because of a collapsed lifter😂
Dear followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service, the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.
They aren’t THAT dangerous. I currently have a 20 Silverado with no issues and my previous 03 avalanche had 235k zero issues. GM may not be as bad as you think. But hmm Maybe you are right. My 2015 trax has been getting oil leaks from the turbocharger at 68k miles. Well all I gotta say is not everything in this world is gonna last ever.
City truck. Way too low to the ground. Way to big wheels. When did trucks stop being trucks? Don't get me wrong, I've been a chevy guy my whole life and just bought a 2020 Trail Boss LT. But dam,there barely trucks anymore.
