Totally agree, I think they fold down to maximize storage (length wise) if they folded up it would be hard to fit plywood or drywall in when all seats are folded.

They do flip up, but, DeLo pressed the incorrect handle. He had to press the rear handle twice to get to the rear, it is extremely easy. It has If you pause the video at 9:25 you will see the handle showing the picture and x2, meaning that it will flip up, the second time it is pressed.

I like three seat bench in second row. I have three kids under 6, but how can I maneuver from second row to third since it seems the second row doesnt tilt with two car seats in the second row?
