hi people!! sorry this isn’t art content - i decided to make this because i wanted to share other aspects of my life with you all, and also because i have ~things~ to say about the college system 🥴 i applied to 11 schools: umass amherst, vanderbilt, risd, northwestern, duke, brown, columbia, harvard, princeton, yale, + stanford. (i did submit test scores - SAT + 3 subject tests - for those wondering.) the admissions process is often so arbitrary (and sometimes rigged), and this year was especially wack because of the panny. please know that the colleges you do / don’t get accepted to are not, by any means, a reflection of your worth.
regarding my “rant” at the end: in no way am i an expert, and i definitely didn’t fully capture the nuances of the issue. i just wanted to share my thoughts - but feel free to shit on me in the comments if you disagree with them :)
