It does not lock, when you have your hand also on the inside of the door handle. I made that mistake also. It will lock reliable when you only touch the marked area on the outside of the door handle.
I've got one of these. Too much power for a fwd from stand still with way too much wheel spin. Mpg is pretty poor even driving sensibly. Infotainment system is poor for 2022, it's slow, doesn't always react and it's a pain to access heated seats etc. Outside if that, it's a lovely drive and overtaking is a breeze and it feels like it will outrun anything once it's got traction.
