As long as there is a working batery on the Bronco darkness will never be an issue with the 2021 Ford Bronco Light Bar and Rigid lights all around. With the help of bodyguard bumpers light mounts, and locations in the bumpers, there are now 4 ignite series spot lights, 2 ignite series flood lights, 2 360 series ditch lights, and a huge Radiance+ 40" light bar.
Each on of these lights individually are super bright, when all combined it is like driving the sun around at night.

A Bit early in the day to post this, but about to head out the door to start the drive to SEMA, and wanted to get it out. I have another video recorded as well but didn't get it edited yet, been crazy couple of weeks. I'm also interested in the ditch lights for my Badlands. I think sharing the switch for the rock lights and the back lights would be what I would do to save switches.

Another great video. I can fully relate to those long days turning into nights installing things. The longer you work trying to finish up the longer it takes as the mental exhaustion sets in. I don't have a Bronco yet but if you do decide to do a giveaway for the Diode Dynamics lights I would definitely enter. If I won I would put them to good use on my F250. Looking forward to the SEMA uploads. Have a safe trip.

Other than showing off, I'm not sure what the use for back lighting is. I love this light bar, but if I get it, I might leave that wire unplugged. Great video as usual!

Too bad you can't use the aux switches for everything. I'll be having the rock lights put in my rig once it gets in. Haven't decided if i'm gonna let the dealership install them or do them myself.

Unfortunately, the Bronco is nearly impossible to get for many long time reservation holders. Ford's dealer allocation formula for 2022 prioritizes large volume dealers over customer reservations. Ford has all but abandoned their commitment to deliver reservations before dealer stock. For customers that reserved at smaller dealers who have fully embraced the Bronco, it will take years for them to get a delivery.

Did you notice a change in MPG with the light bar? I know on the JK’s it’s a couple mpg penalty with a roof mounted light bar.

I added so much at once its hard to say what had an impact, lost mpg's but also added a bunch of weight with everything too, so its possible but not sure.

Thanks, yeah if you are just doing one set of lights you can put them directly on the bronco, the bodyguard bracket gives you some more space to add additional lights

There was not a big increase in wind noise, there was some but not a hug difference with the hard top not sure if it would be more noticeable with soft top or not. there was some whistling that got worse with colder weather, check the comments for a solution for that from Gary Pate

I do not think so, from what I have seen the roof rack uses those same mounting locations on the front, so would need to find a mount that would work together with the roof rack one.

I would imagine so, the trick would be finding a place to mount them, with the top off it would be easy to find spots, with top on it doesn't leave a lot of options, since anything on top side of bumper would block swing gate. If you have spare on there could mount on there most likely.

hey Bill...I just installed the same light setup as yours...BG mounts, Rigid lights...what I did not expect was the loud whistling created by that light bar. Does yours do that, and if so, have you done anything about it?

Is it cold where you are located? When I first installed it I got a bit of a whistle but only right at 30mph, and it wasn't that loud. Seems like as the air has gotten colder it has gotten loader and more frequent though. Have seen a couple of clips and covers that go over the fins that say they will cancel it out, but most are for straight lights not curved. I have mine off right now but will mess with it some more when I put it back on.

@@EvilleTruck Yea, its in the 20's and 30's right now. I don't know if I can say that it happens at a certain speed, but it def does kick in at least 20MPH, and then the harmonics of it vary depending on the speed. I saw various hacks to supposedly help with this...Not a fan of a cover because I have my pillar lights on the same switch, and I won't ever be able to turn the lights on (including the back lights) as long as that cover is on. Also saw something about door trim rubber placed on the fins, or a clear plastic shield which to me doesn't look very good. I may have to try the door trim first and see how that goes.

Not sure if the cold air does have an impact or just coincidence or what, but did there is a big difference in noise from summer to now. Yeah those clear plastic shields are not very attractive at all. Once I put mine back on I will try some options as well.

Any idea if you have to use the provided relay for the light bar if you just wire directly into factory upfitter switches?

I didn’t use supplied relay , just wired directly, if you have a light bar that is going to pull more amps than any of the available circuits, then run the relay.

Rigid claims a 14.7 amp draw on this lightbar. If you use Aux 1 spot, it is good for up to 30 amps which should be more than sufficient (even with the normal 20% head room you want to give yourself).... Aux 2 is 15 amps, it will probably work but you are cutting it close as far blowing fuses. Aux 3-6 are 10amp and will mostly like blow fuses and would require the relay with a seperate power source.
