The reason it is a smoother ride is a feature called CCD (Continuous Controlled Dampening). It’s standard on the limited but also an option on the platinum. Ford says if you hit a pothole it’s so responsive that it can stiffen the shock so you don’t feel the lot hole.

Overall great review. However, the Limited does not have Chrome. The grill, door handles,and rear plaque are satin finished.

Good, thorough review. Well done! Thumbs up! One question, you mentioned the Limited comes with 22" wheels, but what are the full measurements of the tires? 275/50R20, other, I haven't found that. I tend to like tires with more rubber rather than less, and some 22" wheels that I've seen have less rubber, lower sidewall numbers than others, thus my question about the full tire measurements. Thanks either way. Great job. One suggestion, when you reference foot and head room in the rear, be sure to tell us how tall you are, it helps us judge it better.

I have just purchased a 2021 Limited and coming from a 2014 Limited the two things I don't like on the 21 is the folding running boards don't come down low enough so when you step on it, it places you to high and you have to duck down to enter the cabin and the fact that I can't use my apple nano ipod to play

The steps come out when you approach the truck when you have the key. That's why the steps kept moving.

Great review on this truck! Just wanted to say the hybrid system in this F150 is actually not a "mild" hybrid system at all.. its a full hybrid, an example of a mild hybrid would be the Ram 1500 with eTorque (48 volt) system. Mild hybrids also can't travel at normal driving speeds on electricity alone.

Yep, mess up on the pro power on board as well. It’s 7.2 total, not 7.2 on top and 2.4 on bottom. It’s a 240 on top and 4 120’s on bottom, which equals 7200 or 7.2

I Disagree with the limited being the top dog the only difference between the 2021 F150 platinum and The 2021 F150 Limited is The Limited badge written across the front hood Of the limited The 22" rims and tires The interior been a little more fancier You cannot get the F ×4 off road 4wheel drive Package on a limited You cannot get the Coyote V8 engine on a limited The platinum can tow more than the limited The 2021 Ford 150 platinum can come with the hybrid V6 Engine The 2021 F150 platinum can come with every engine the 2021 F150 limited can for the exception of the high output 3.5 V6Engine Which Ford is not offering this year on the 2021 F150 limited Why pay more for the same truck That Comes with less The name says it all The 2021 F150 platinum Don't trust my comment research it yourself
