Beautiful truck was at the Dealer today to get one but after the sales manager said $20k over the msrp i walked right out. Went next door to Toyota Dealership and order the trd pro fully loaded for $74k🤷♂️
My dealer also said $20k over. Only because this was my 4th truck purchase from this dealership did they reduce it to $10k. The heart wants what the heart wants.
Ford made it the same width. The new styling makes it look different. The styling is not near as aggressive as the 17 version.. I love my 17 styling. But also like the new.
It’s definitely not as aggressive looking. I don’t think the tires have anything to do with it. The 35” version looks the same. But the amount of features is a huge step up. Suspension also big plus
The Twin Turbo EcoBoost is not in there for fuel economy it puts out massive Torque and HP and is much lighter than a V8 so it makes the truck more nimble for off-road driving. That was their intention with it. Lot's of talk about the Raptor R having a BIG V8 so stay tuned :)
I really like the lead foot, looks like a completely different color in a bright sunny day (much lighter & almost a slight blue tint to it) vs an overcast cloudy day (when it looks darker/more sinister nearly looks as dark a grey as the interior & appears to have metallic effect to it in shadowy conditions even tho it doesn’t)
purchased one used iconic silver 37 package love it had a black/ black with the half doors in the gen 2018, this version is wayyyyyyy nicer inside. Love it!
Oddly enough, this review made me like the blue interior. It's more grayish blue than smurf blue. Black, brown and Tan interiors are boring,this adds some spark to the truck.
Give me a raptor with 37's , recaro's in black....and a supercab ford. No need for the crew cab... Love my 17 raptor supercab.. Not a fan of the blue interior.... Listen to the ford owners please ford....
@@johnt6673 I love the super cab. Do the suicide doors open all the way, eventually touching the bed frame or half way? My grandad and I have the same F-150, he has an XLT and I have the FX4 , his doors open halfway and mine open flush.
15k over MSRP. Yikes. Sadly the TRX quashed any ADM market for the Raptor. Local dealer has 5 Raptors coming in they are trying to find buyers for at MSRP and no ones biting. Great review tho.
I used to love the raptors but they made the new model ugly and ram has definitely topped the raptor with the Trx with the interior, exterior, and motor. It’s hard to beat
Toyota has been making capable off road suv for decades man what are you talking about. Matter of fact they do it so well their trucks flood war zones in thr desert and jungles if south America. They do it all while being reliable😆
I love how they shrunk the rear bumper so the huge exhaust tips aren't the lowest hanging part that gets squished when you go up a big hill (like at Moab)
At 1:00 he said that there is 6 different cameras, I can only think of 5. Front, right side, left side, top rear cargo and tailgate. Is there another at the license plate for reverse??? Just curious since he said 6. Thanks
I'll keep my 2017 Raptor. Its already had the motor replaced at 20k, an all-new rear end at 40k, and looks like a new trans at 46k. I'll have a new truck by the time my extended warranty runs out.
I’m working on my 6th appearance at the dealership for my mirrors. Filing paperwork for the lemon law. Sounds like you need to do the same…3x power train
@@HSSANITO apparently nothing, that 10sp is worthless. I had a 2019 mustang gt that I didn't beat on any more than any past mustang I've had. My 10sp was replaced under warranty at 24k miles, they had my car for 6 weeks.

Point of correction. All Second Generation Ford Raptors have been 450HP with 510 Pound Feet of Torque. The power plant in the this third Generation Raptor is exactly the same. Either in 2022 or 2023, Ford is suggesting a new Raptor called the Raptor R to go after the RAM 1500 TRX. The power plant would be the 5.2L V8 Coyote pushing 760HP. But none of this has been certified as of yet.
@@LascoFord You are absolutely correct on that. My point of correction is when Mason stated the HP has been upgraded for 2021 at 10:30 when in fact it has been exactly the same as on the Second Generation since it came out in 2017. But I was incorrect myself when I stated that Ford had not confirmed the new Raptor R. They in fact have, and the HP will somewhere North of 700HP, but unknown at this time.

GMC please take notes, this is how to design interior of an expensive truck. The denali looks like crap from inside. I so wanted a GMC but not with that ugly interior for a 2021 vehicle. Ford Raptor is beautiful from inside out. i am SOLD !
Hands down ford makes the best trucks in the looks department. But man the cheesy gimmicks they pack in the inside however is what turns me off. No one buys that raptor to take to the worksite and beat up on the daily, we all know this. The whole motorized shifter is so dumb to me. Just make it a column shifter. And why in the world does it have paddles? SMH great looking truck but man dumb over engineering

IF YOU USE ALL INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION PARTS? THOSE WILL ADJUST AUTOMATICALLY TO THE SURFACE, ROAD OR TERRAIN YOUR VEHICLE IS DRIVING ON. YOU DONT NEED A COMPUTER TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS FOR YOU. Everything is going electric. Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs and amazing technology. Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. So last century. Electric cars, electric trucks, electric buses, electric trash haulers, electric snow blowers, electric lawn mowers, electric snow mobiles, electric water craft, electric garden tools, electric mechanic tools, electric motor cycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric farm tractors, electric construction equipment, electric delivery vehicles, No worries about starting after sitting for a few months. Gas always needs repairs.
Still a stupid v6 turd in this overpriced truck.. Ford needs to get with the program and stop putting this weak ass engine in a raptor and bring back the v8.. the Exhaust note is a joke and it sounds like a tin can, just laughable
Signature amber three lights. Some one tried to argue why other copy cats like Toyota was coming he up with amber lights. He mentioned something about the DOT rules.
The ruined it. The V8 was better even though it had less power it still would be my preference. The small displacement, turbo heat and more and more use of plastics in the engine bay is a disaster waiting to happen.
I have a Chevy trail Boss LT 5.3. Love the exterior of my truck, but boy does Chevy drop the ball on interior. Ford kills the interior game with this truck. Great screen, dual pano ceiling windows, led lighted cup holders, and more. Hey Chevy - take some notes here!
