Extemely informative. I forgot how detailed your videos are. Do you write/plan/film it all yourself? Your command of English and descriptive adjectives are exceptional.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate the feedback! Yes, do everything myself. It usually takes me 2-3 days to film and produce each review, depending on the car. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for finally putting up some new car reviews. I’ve been missing them for most of this year, and have been watching some of your older car reviews and I love them. I’ve been watching your channel since 2012, and I have always loved the variety of cars you do reviews on. For a blind person who loves cars, I find your videos extremely descriptive. Thanks for doing what you do, and keep up the great work.
It’s so fun to watch your reviews. You really set the standard on a car review style that is frequently copied but never duplicated. Hope all is well and have a great day!
Boy do miss your new car reviews Kyle! You always show us the right details and present them in way that's totally clear. Hope to see more like these again in the future 😊
hey great video kyle what a fancy car not much to the front right side of the interior almost looks just like a electric car but thiers lots of stuff for the drivers side that i seen of coarse lol its really cool heated rear seat thats something we dont see everyday lol but over all the car is awsome like u saiod its more luxary than sport and i agree it also reminds me more of a testla but other than that great video you did a fanstastic job and hard work of editing included thumbs up and shared
Here is the question for you Kyle, being you have owned a Hyundai in the past. Would you buy one of these yourself? If so what trim package would you go for?
This is a really well done video and that car is stunning. My first car was an 89 sonata and that was peak korean car at the time. To see where they've come from and where they are now is astounding. I want one of these.
Wow, I really missed you a lot, I can tell that you are the best cars in depth reviewer out there, keep up the great work, plenty of information 👌, really amazing, thanks Kyle ❤️
you are still the best, you are the first to not hear bmw or mercedes, and the first to say what the car has not what it does not have. I would recommend it to other "product evaluators" with great pleasure.
to know how to evaluate a new product, without making comparisons with others, to be able to do that only according to their own feelings, anyway for those who have them, means not to be brainwashed for years and years by journalists who own bmw GLE who have only three words in their vocabulary! it's that simple.
Another great video Kyle! I'm enjoying the mix of projects and reviews. The reviews are classic, but the projects brought a nice little change imo. That G80 with the blue on blue is gorgeous. Keep up the great work!
I wish you still did more videos like this your very thourough and in depth with your reviews I do like your newer style of videos but I definitely loved these since I was younger
I've talked about that plenty of times on social media and in update videos. I got burned out and it was too much to handle with building our house and moving.
Great review as always. You set the bar quite high a long time ago that many of the current individuals don't come close to. Yours are most informative and provide someone with good information should they be interested in purchasing the automobile.
Hey there Kyle how are you doing, I have been subbed to your channel for quite a long time maybe 6 years or so. Just to note: even Peugeot and Citroen make backward facing tachometers Love from India!
The next generation Genesis G90 is currently being tested. Based on Genesis's current momentum, I expect their flagship G90 to easily surpass the Lexus LS and trade blows with the German full size cars. Based on spy shots it will have air suspension, dual LiDar sensors for autonomous driving, and flush door handles. Can't wait✨
@@saabkyle04 i have been a follower of your channel for quite a few years now. Your car reviews and the way you thoroughly go over every aspect of the car you’re reviewing is nothing short of impressive. I wish you all the best and may your channel prosper ever more!
Man you can't say "but its a Hyundai" or "its still a kia" anymore, Hyundai, Kia and genesis are really making some cool cars now and the quality and reliability is pretty good to Infact Hyundai, Kia and genesis are making far more cooler and better cars than Nissan, Honda,Mitsubishi and Nissan now, who said "made in Japan" is always good
It has nothing to do with a Sonata, this is an all-new car on a RWD platform. Genesis is a Luxury branch of Hyundai, but nothing they currently produce has any real relation to any Hyundai model, except for some basic tech features.
Nice that it’s just as fast as the predecessor V8. I love Genesis’ sedans (saloons) because they are basically like Mercedes without all the Mercedes headaches/reliability issues. Admittedly they don’t have as many features as the equivalent Mercedes but hey, it’s WAY more reliable. Evidence of this is the fact I actually see a lot of G80s on the roads.
@@behindthen0thing They’re the only good Hyundai’s though. Every car that Hyundai makes is crap except for the Equus, Genesis, and Genesis G70, 80, and 90. Plus it’s MUCH cheaper than the Mercedes.
Love these cars. I have a 2012 that has been a great automobile. They only thing I don't like about all the new makes and models of autos, is that they place the center screen on the dash like its and add on, instead of making it built into the dash itself. They all seem oddly placed. Seems like they are all trying to copy Telsa.
I don't see the relation to Tesla, but I understand where you're coming from. At first, I thought the same way, but I've come to appreciate it more as designs evolve. I was really impressed with how this interior was laid out.
I know, right? It comes across as a "tacked-on afterthought" in many cases. I think the early 2010's Mercedes C Class was the first car I saw with that display.
Kyle - great job. Little pricey for my taste. For that price point, I would stick with name brand luxury vehicles. Unfortunately Hyundai’s resale value depreciates quicker then other luxury name brand vehicles at the same price point. That’s only my opinion from being in the car business.
You're right, only time will tell, but Nissan and Lexus were all-new at one point and look at where they are today! I hope Genesis does well, I appreciate a little more variety in the market. Resale projections aside, this is a fantastic car that offers everything you'd want in a car like this.
I'm sure a lot of the big name outlets will, it's a shame really, these are soooo underrated. People are always finding ways to complain about something.
Not everyone is and I totally understand why, but it's a way to make large power more efficient with the ever growing regulations. Ford for example has really taken it to the extreme. General motors is starting to follow suit too. I think the only brand that has yet to get into all of that is Dodge.
@@saabkyle04 for example my dream car is a 1955 Chevy Bel air any color blind t the difference between a new car and a old on is that the old car is a manual steering.
Great choice, I love tri-five chevys. That's why I'm so pumped to be working on our Chevelle, it's more up my alley than anything I've done lately haha.
@@saabkyle04 I watch your old car videos I watch the startup of a 1955 Chevy bel air that you reviewed the light blue one way years ago of your old videos I just want to say I watched that so many times because I hope one day I get to have a bel air I always wanted one so bad. But yeah good luck to you I watch your videos so much you inspire me to work on and save me for a new car as my first car
I respectively disagree. I remember reviewing new cars back in 2012 and this is far from it. I genuinely think this is right on par with the competition. They knocked it out of the park.
@@saabkyle04 I donʼt know specifically, but Some say that the Gauge cluster is inspired by BMW. And even the cockpit is inspired by Lexus. Nice review!
50-60k for Hyundai... nope. Changing the name/branching off does nothing for me honestly... Lexus is still a Toyota and Infiniti is a still a Nissan lol 😜
😐. Not the high end technologies, refreshing and unique design, top notch materials and smooth, quiet, cloud like ride. Just the fact that Hyundai and is Genesis's parent company. Most idiotic and stubborn thing I've ever read. Its not like its a rebadged sonata. It's wildy different u han anything they've made before😐🤦🏾♂️😒
I mean, I can't argue with that logic lol, but it still pays to compare brands when shopping. The Germans do exceptionally well with their offerings, but they're often out of reach for most, depending on what you're looking at. It's nice to have the variety of new brands coming into the market. To call it a Kia or a Hyundai is doing it a disservice. I highly encourage you to check one out for yourself, you might be surprised! I saw nothing that resembled anything currently offered by Hyundai or Kia. I think that's what Impressed me the most. It's literally a clean sheet design.
@@saabkyle04 you’re right but I’ve checked them out, driven them, it reminds me of GMC/Chevy... I’m serious it feels like I’m paying a premium for a different set of tail lights or head lights and seat trim... nothing substantial like the difference between a BMW and a Mercedes. Nothing I would trade in a new Sonata at $30k for a $60k Genesis. But I own a Town Car lol 😂 it’s not like I can afford one. But still I say it feels like I’m driving a Crown Vic with softer suspension lol Like I haaaaaate that the new Maybach is a suped up S Class... where’s the class distinction?
I do get where you're coming from! I've always said that I feel the new car market is becoming more and more derivative with less variety. That's why I was so excited about this car, it felt different to me. Everyone has their opinions, likes and dislikes, that's what makes us enthusiasts!
@@saabkyle04 I love it too. The whole genesis line. Hyundai and Kia have made a name for themselves. They’ve come a LONNNNG way from those ugly unreliable cars they started with lol and the warranty?? Now see now that I think about it, maybe that’s where $50-60k would be warranted. Can’t get that with the Germans
