Just ordered some $200 Smarty Pants with this code for $150! Thanks for hooking us up..... oh yeah, I like the bike too. Billiard Red for me with the upgraded Stereo and RDRS. I'm 6'5 and 300 lbs. I need the full suspension travel that the standard models offer. The Specials are lowered, but I do like the wheels and smaller crash bar.

Will you do a review and ride for your own personal bike sometime? Also, I’m looking forward very much to the new colors for next year. Always exciting to see what colors will come on each model. Seriously thinking about a Road Glide Special if the right paint set is offered. Honestly though, vivid black on black is hard to beat. It’s only May and already I can’t wait to see next year’s models.

Great review. Like you stated, everyone has their own opinion. For me, I like everything better about the RG Standard: I prefer their Enforcer II wheels, I love the matte dash vs the high gloss (for me, the matte looks like better quality... matte looks like what you would see in a Porsche vs the gloss in a Kia), I prefer the non-stretched bags where the exhaust tips are more visible, I prefer the color of the gauges on the Standard vs the Special, and most of all, I prefer the chrome look over the blacked-out appearance (although chrome is an option on the Special). But hey... I am glad Harley offers both. The 114 engine obviously offers a little more HP and torque, but not sure it is really needed. Again, great review. Thank you!

Very informative. I like the fact that you showed us comparisons. You’re really giving us the information we would like. Thanks! My taste on wheels and yours is very similar. My taste on the finish is different from yours. I’m a chrome guy all the way. Maybe that’s because I’m 15 years or so older. Anyway, you’re 100% right about the 114. I’ve owned both the 107 and the 114. The 107 in a Road King and then the 114 in two different Limiteds. I’m wondering why they’re keeping the 107 around, especially for the touring group of bikes. I can almost see it in the smaller bikes, the Softails.

Noticed the chrome latch the saddle bags. The special also has turned valve stems

I like the Standard models. If I'm gonna pay extra, it's a better deal to get the Ultra instead of the Special. For a little over a grand more you get the tour pak, front lowers, extra speakers, heated grips and seat. Thanks for mentioning my gas door suggestion. Keep up the great work. P.S. Does the Road glide have a thicker handlebar than the Streeglide? Looks like it's internal wired where the ultra's are not.

Damn I thought you crashed. Try a curved 3M GoPro mount for the top of the helmet - just clean the spot first with some rubbing alcohol. You can also use some adhesion promoter for insurance but not totally necessary. Road Glide in Vivid Black - perfect.

I want a Road Glide Standard in Baja Orange...case closed.

The wheels on the specials are gonna be a problem. I’ll bet on hard hit to a pothole will break or bend that wheel with those spokes

Great bike as a first bagger. Personally I think it’s more of a bargain than the special just because you can spend 6 or 7K on this to make it more powerful and more stylish than the special.

You can get that s wheel for cheap

While the basic numbers are pretty-close, I'd have to take the Indian Chieftain over the Harley Road Glide...just has a better look.

This isn’t a 2021 it still has the gas cap in center console

The extra money is around 5k dollars. Some of us don’t have and extra 5k sitting around
