Really nice mate, got one myself with short shots after market wheels from custom cruisers and a few other bits and pieces, I think I'm going to chop the back down like yours cos I think it's just looks so cool like that. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers i love the look of mine, just be aware the chop i have on mine is on the rear suspension meaning you cant have a sissy bar. If you chop it to the next bolt after the suspension you can still have a sissy bar and more rear fender options. And dont shorten the suspension as the ride is crap. Use lowering bracket for the rear and slide the forks down slightly in the tripple clamps to lower the front. My steering went to shit after lowering mine
Dont dream, make it happen. I always thought it was someone else that does it, im not that guy, maybe one day then i decided its finally my time to just do it and ive not looked back. Hope you get your dream soon.
@@MotoSoulTherapy Thanx dude 🙏🏻 Circumstances regarding job versus studying again keeps me from buying a 48 right now. Eventually I will. Awesome bike there. Such a beauty.
@N.J. beatty Reg has changed from 20 plate to 21 plate because its a private reg thats on it now. combination of my name and birthday J 21 September, mainly to reduce the number of letters in the reg so i can have a smaller number plate
Great work bro, lovely 48! Couple of questions. What shocks did you settle for and were you happy with them? And, what make were those brown boots you had on near the start lol! Cool
Thanks. I ended up sticking to stock suspension as its not that bad on a 48, i think the iron suspension is bad but the 48 is good enough for me. The boots are alpinestars j-6 their waterproof trainer boots casual with just enough protection
hopefully their better than the ones i put on, the bike felt horrible once the rear was lowered, make sure to lower the front a little if you have bought lower rear shocks
I dont have links but the idecators are heinz winglet micro lights if you google them you should find them. I think amazon will also bring similar ones up.
Just about to pull the trigger I think on one of these.. bike looking 👌. How did you get on with the bike when you got it, was it a culture shock with how it rides, or are they not as bad as people say .
First time riding it i was nervouse and it felt strange but next day it was fine. The bike handles amaising far easyer and more relaxed on this than i was on the yamaha or ktm supermoto. One thing i would say is dont lowwer it. I put new shocks on mine that dropped it 2 inch and i bottomed it out constantly so either keep factory suspension or at least swap for same length.i went back to stock as it handles great anyway. I bought the bike with 23 miles on the clock in june and it goes in for its 1000 mile service tomorrow so im actually thinking of buying a second one to keep the miles down as i cant resist taking it out and using my other bike lol so yeah i would say pull the trigger you wont be dissapointed but just remember you only get 65 to 70 miles on a full tank so plan to get a 3.3 gal tank to replace the 2.2 gal stock tank if you want to go places lol
Is that blue on the white walls on purpose or just because the tires are new? Looks good to me either way I’m getting that same bike in blue tomorrow and was thinking those tires would look good with it
Heinzbikes winglets. 3 in 1 micro led around £175 in UK. You will also need a resistor. If you get the heinzbike nano series you dont need the resistor
@@walmyrcardoso9653 thanks, still working on it im not sure how far ill go with customising but im happy with how it is for now. I realise now linda means beautiful 😁
Yeah there white now the protective coating is off them 🤪 watch to the end of the video when i do the walk round you will see them magically change colour to white
