2021 Haval Jolion Review,
So Haval have come along way and still a way to go but they released the Jolion, A small SUV with a lot of space. From the lines around the car are smooth. Inside the Jolion is nice leather seats and nice smooth lines around the dash and then there is the 2 screens with media and speedo. Haval are going very well and making their way up and up. Under the Bonnet is a 1.5 litre 4 Cylinder Turbo Charged Petrol Engine which produces 110 kw's of power and 220 nm's of Torque and that's mated to a 7 speed dual clutch transmission. Out on the road the Jolion is smooth and comfy and its no racer but it does get up to speed well so it has enough torque on hand for different occasions.

We brought a Jolion in July, excellent safety items, Quality Excellent, Ride Excellent, only fault AC is through 12" Tablet, cant rise wiper to clean windscreen

Hi Neville, Thanks for the feedback and congratulations on your purchase and glad your mostly happy with it. That's no good you had an issue with the AC on the tablet and yes it is a pain not to be able to lift the wipers to clean the windscreen. Otherwise sounds like your very happy with everything. Nice looking SUV, Paint quality very good finish and wheel looks good maybe gold and silver tone wheels would look better,and the interior looks amazing! great video ....

In Italy for now they only import Haval H2. Consumption aside, which I find a bit high, the car weighs a lot, very solid, I feel great. Interior of quality and well equipped, unfortunately it does not have ADAS, which Haval is taking steps to include various ADAS in its newer models. This Jolion is a real step forward. Great car.

Thank you for nice review... I love my Jolion so far. only problem I have is lane keep assist as I have to turn it off every single time I turn on the engine. I hate this so do you have an advice on it? thank you

Hi Sanath, Thanks for watching I do appreciate it alot and I am glad you love your Jolion. I read somewhere that you can try this. All that active safety stuff works well too, for the most part The lane-keep and active cruise control combination seems to be able to read upcoming corners in the road and slow the car ahead of time, but it’s a bit eager, often braking from 100kmh to 90kmh for a bend that’s barely curved. Easily remedied by keeping the active cruise on but deactivating the lane-keep. But I am not sure as it might reset everytime you turn off the car. You might be able to have a talk to your service department and ask them to disable it. See how you go with it. And thanks again

Can you customise the layout of the infotainment screen? I’ve seen a version where the different buttons/settings are along the bottom. I like the big tile buttons better like on this version you have.

Hi Timmy, You can customise the infotainment a bit with different colours and a different theme so there are a few options there for you. I do like the big tile buttons as well and they are big and easy to press.

I just bought one and waiting for it in February .. what sound system does it use? I’ve watched a lot of videos but none mention what it is . Love the review but you forgot to show the space under the gear dial with the two USB ports

Hi John, I can't find much on it either other than The Lux and Ultra also come with a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, and a six-speaker audio system with DTS audio processing so not sure what make it is. I will keep searching for you Thanks for watching and yes sorry I missed the space under the gear knob so I appreciate you bringing that to my attention and I am always trying to better myself I my videos I do.

Sound system is by Harmon so its JBL dts I own one I am getting 7.8 ltr per 100 Goes great 17600 klm no faults

Hi Canaan, Yes it does and I was in the lux as the ultra the model above has a sunroof and the one I looked at didn't have a sunroof

Is the Haval Jolion more fun to drive than the Rav 4 Hybrid?

Hi Ray Ban, These 2 vehicle's drive differently and in my opinion I think the Jolion is a very fun car to drive as it is lighter but the Rav4 has more power and does feel heavier on the road.
