2021 Highlander Cargo Space: How Much Can you Fit? A Demo!

We have a 2020 Highlander Hybrid, just helped my parents move, with all the rear seats down, we fit the same amount of cargo as a Chevy Silverado crew cab with a cap. Also have to say, even fully loaded we still managed 7.6L/100kms for that trip. The return trip empty, was 5.5L/100kms. You can’t ask for much more from a vehicle as far as I’m concerned.

Your reviews have been so helpful! I ended up deciding to go with the Highlander Hybrid over the Sienna because of them. This helped me get a better idea of the possibilities when it comes to cargo space, since that’s one of the main reasons I’m upgrading from my RAV4.

Why is the rear trunk floor in the 2021 highlander flatter then the 2021 sienna where there is a 1,1/2” drop off at the end of the 3rd row seat when set flat to the floor?

While it looks impressive, the dimensions aren't that impressive. With the seats down, this is actually smaller width and height wise than the X5. It's just a bit longer giving it an extra few CU FT. Good demo, though
