Just bought a 2021 CR-V EX Yesterday. The salesperson was a bit tired and didn't explain everything fully. I searched for videos and found this one. You're the favorite one so far. 😁 Thank you for showing me how to use my car. 🤣
Question on Exhaust Tip? I didn't get this with my 2021 Honda CR-V EX Model. Should I ask my dealership to have this on my vehicle? Will this be free? Does this cover under the Manufacturer's warranty?
9:50 Thank you! I just bought this model today and thought there was something wrong with it when I got home and couldn’t get the trunk to open automatically by pressing the button. So it just unlocks it on the EX. That saved me a trip back to the dealer and who knows how much waiting time for them to tell me that. Thanks again. 👍🏻

@@7vj7ik No, I didn't. No exhaust tips on mine. That may be a feature on the more expensive models or an add on option at the dealership at the time of purchase. I don't believe they're stock.
I have 2018 CRV lease and now I am changing to 2021 but although I have almost all these features I didn' know them until your wonderful review! Thank you so much Justin! Great presentation.

Excellent and very thorough review. Learned a whole lot more from you then in our test drive yesterday. Thoroughly, enjoyed your video. Thank you. (Now, to see if you did a review on 2021 Civic EX. We're in the market for that too.)
Thanks much for this review. I was getting an option to upgrade my 2018 CRV EX to 2021 CRV EX, for additional $10k. But after seeing your review. The 2018 is identical to the 2021 model... I decided to stick to my 2018.
Purchased one and to be Honest I’m not impressed. The gas tank is far too small . 300 miles to a tank of gas . It’s drastically under powered when taking off from a stand still . But I do want to say that you did a really good job !!!!
Thank you for the thorough review. I am looking at this exact model, trim, exterior color, and interior color in another state. This review helped me to see the difference between the special edition and ex models. I was a bit perplexed by the additional cost for a few of the colors. But I gotta say the subtle sparkle and almost duo chrome on the white (and I noticed it on the grey as well) is just stunning. It's so much prettier in person. I'm waiting to test drive a few other makes but I really don't think I will like anything better then this CRV.
hey Justin, thank you for making great videos for us. Any chance you can measure the cargo area of this CRV (in inches). Sometimes cubic feet numbers don't make sense!
I bought a 2021 CR-V sport , its nice but would have liked to see the infotainment center updated. Also I hate the stop at red light function, you can turn it off but then have to stare at a orange light on the dash
Hi Justin. Can you please show us how to adjust the brightness on the touch screen instrument panel. We can't find it and it was on and now it dimmed way down probably user error we appreciate you sir
Hi there, thanks for the informative video. My question is why do you think the reverse beeping sound doesn't work on my 2021 CRV exl? Is there a way to turn it on/off?
Good video. Wish you talked slower. This vehicle has so many features that you should make a video for seniors who buy this car. It can seem overwhelming. Just a suggestion.
I noticed the interior of the 2021 CR-V you showed was tan. When I go to the website of Honda it only shows a black interior available. Is there a tan option? Thanks I do enjoy your videos and video tips for the vehicles
I refuse to have black interiors because I park outside (Dallas heat) when I go to the office. Tan/beige interiors are better in this instance. I've been WFH during the pandemic, but can't wait to use the remote start when I do go back to the office. I love my 2021 cRV-EXL, white with tan interior. Toyota only offers black interiors. Mazda mostly has black interiors; tan are harder to find.
Auto idle makes my car shake under my seat, usually when I lift my foot off the brake, but sometimes when I am stopped with my foot on the brake. I had no clue about this, have not seen it mentioned online, and I actually brought my 2 week old car in for service, but was told that it was normal because the engine is merely restarting. Annoying but normal. Now that I know that it is OK, it doesn't annoy me quite as much. Is the only purpose for auto idle to save on gas? Does anyone else have this complaint? That being said, I have no other complaints about the car. Well, the trunk is a little heavy for me to lift, but I guess that's my problem. Thanks for your videos. Much better than the Owner's Guide, which is not so informative, and you constantly have to figure out which model they are referring to.
I wouldn't be afraid to add this if you really want it. You can get them for around a few hundred dollars. You can always double check with the dealership if you're concerned about being able to trade it in or turn it in. But it shouldn't be an issue.
Hi Justin did you get my message about 2014 Honda CR-V tailgate not opening when cold outside. Especially in morning, or rainy weather. Really frustrating, any help or tips appreciated🙏🌈
Thanks Justin.! There’s actually a lot of complaints. Same issue, I’ve been seeing many many other people complain of. But I’ll see if someone can look at it for me. Thank you again, merry Christmas to you and yours🙏🌈😊
I just bought a honda CR V EX 2021. I dont know why I press the button on my key to unlock my tailgate. It is still lock until I come to push the button at the tailgate
The idle stop/start feature has to be disabled EVERY time one gets in the car. A big annoyance. And this feature may save a dime in gas but will cost you 100s of dollars in repair fees for battery, starter, and motor wear and tear. It is just a pain in the butt to have to remember to disable the feature every time one gets into the car.
@@LVA22-y1m In the summertime just keep the AC on as low (cold) as it will go - the idle stop/start is disabled when AC is at full power. I wonder if rigging something to keep the idle-stop-toggle button pressed all the time would do the trick?
@@Simmons2358 What's the fix for the winter? Never turn the heat on? LOL But seriously, I wonder why temperature affects the idle feature? I'll have to ask the dealership about it.
@@LVA22-y1m The car is powered by the car battery when idle stop is engaged. The AC pulls too much current on high to be powered by the battery. My guess
Hello Justin, I Enjoy your videos Tremendously Sir. Can you create a video on "How To" do Updates & Hacks on The Infotainment Center on a 2018 Honda CR-V, 1.5 T, EX 2wd models ? My Infotainment has been Blinking In and Out every so often and it's Annoying as Heck. Thank You
@@coy9898 I have read many reviews from people that own 2020 CRV and they complain about oil dilution. I have 2015 CRV but 2.4 L non turbo and I don’t have any problems.
Honda has fixed the issue and is offering corrections to those with older vehicles having issues. You can always call your local dealership and ask service about this...
This car has the loudest engine I have ever owned. The little turbo engine is so noisy at any speed. I couldn't get relaxed at all while driving this car due to the constant engine noise even though it was brand new car. I sold it in 4 months. Check this problem out before you buy.
