The Honda Ridgeline certainly isn't the first unibody truck to hit the market, but it bears the brunt of the criticisms leveled at the category. With the recent announcements of the Hyundai Santa Cruz and the Ford Maverick, we thought it best to revisit a classic and see for ourselves how the refreshed-for-2021 Ridgeline performs on and off-road. 18 Sport AWD owner here Some of the fun stuff we've done with the trunks include: emergency bucket truck, fill with ice and drinks, and put a deer on ice. I'd prefer if we had a passport front over the pilot/21 facia, those of us that don't care about offroading or towing all the time have been slinging these down the twisties and having fun. If you've never driven one try it, it's convenient and useful in a strangely good way 🤷

Nice job! Thank you for pointing out the HPD is mainly an appearance package. But it’s probably enough truck for 70% of folks buying half tons.

Honda really should have made extra sure to get that stereo thing sorted before handing you the keys. There's no bigger risk you can take than messing with the Kylie Minogue-listening experience.

Refresh is better looking for sure, bronze wheels might be too much as much as I like a good bronze wheel. Curious to see how the maverick nonhybrid mpg will compare to the ridge line. Terrible stereo on a 40k vehicle is a dealbreaker. Give me some hard plastics to save money.
