The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit has aged well and the Summit is the most luxurious yet, but can it still compete on a higher level? PLEASE SUBSCRIBE AND CHECK OUT OUR OTHER CHANNELS www.roadtestreviews.com/ / roadtestreviews
Quadra Trac II is the 4wd system. The suspension is called Quadra Lift. Actually, this being a Summit with the V8, Quadra Trac shouldn’t have been mentioned at all. Summit V8 models come with Quadra Drive II as the standard 4x4 system.
Good video. Question. Your thoughts will be much appreciated. Should I wait for the new Jeep with the Fiat platform or take the tried and true Mercedes platform?
Rashid Burney I have a 2016 JGC Overland Trail Rated and a brand new 2020 JGC Trailhawk...never had any problems. I also bought in 11/2013 two FIAT 500L's; a Trekking and a Lounge. Trekking is still with me and zero issues, while the Lounge proved to be a lemon and FCA bought it back from us for full price of what I paid; mind you out of seven months in my possession it was in the dealership for the same reason SIX months until, finally, the car could not be repaired...the engine, literally, gave up and would not start! (Yes, we were provided with a rental the entire time). I'd go with the current JGC on the Mercedes platform; after all, after all these years, all the bugs have been "exterminated" hahaha! Why wait to go with a brand new, untested yet, FIAT platform? Besides, the year-end deals, and the coming end of the current JGC as we have come to know it, make purchasing JGC's phenomenal! Profit from it.
@@MrKozanitis exactly what i thought 👍 i just got a grand cherokee 2021 S limited trim month a go and i was very hesitant between waiting or the current model. And now am thinking about am so happy and convinced i did the right choice 👍
Great video. I just traded in my 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee summit V8 with 126K miles for a brand new 2021 same features but with the upgraded leather package. (Received $14000 on the trade in) I love the Ivory Pearl White, though the pics on Jeep’s website show it to more of a light silverish color. My 2014 was bright white and I knew I didn’t want the same color so even though I was surprised when test driving it on my initial review I really ended up liking the pearl color better than I thought. The summit has a very luxurious feel to it and like you the lighter grey interior (Indigo Sky Grey) caused me some initial concerns but I decided to take a chance vs black leather that was in my 2014. Fingers crossed. Also, from what I’ve seen I don’t really like the new body style coming with 2022 models and figured I’d strike while I could now.
@@wholelotanothin1 even 14. Yikes that's low I sold my 2015 Overland EcoDiesel last August for 29 thousand. Private sale though. Dealership offered me 15......
@@iggy-pg6gq they have it forsale now for $19,000K. I’m in Texas and that’s the typical going price for that year, make and model here, nonetheless I’m happy with the deal I negotiated overall.
common issue with grand cherokee is the burning smell inside the car when you revup the engine. did you find difference between different engines 3.6, 5.7, 6.2
DXBAD _ ALI who in hell said that? I have had Jeeps (wranglers, Cherokees, JGCs) and never heard that...or smelled it myself in any Jeep that I have been in; mine or friends'! Common issue you say? 😂
@@MrKozanitis I have 2020 jeep grand cherokee summit and the burning smell issue was apparent from day one. I searched online and found many similar complaints. It is good to hear that this issue is not found in all cars. thanks
