High quality materials, great execution, but kind of outclassed by the S class coupe. Then again, this car is tens of thousands cheaper than an s class coupe
I like how you see this car as a great "cruiser" and experience it as it is. Many other reviews tend to compare the lc to other sports/supercars and say it's slow and all. Lexus just hit different imo! Keep up your work!
Yep I’ve seen so many videos of people complaining and being so negative about every single thing in the car, glad this guy makes videos for all us. He’s genuine about every car he tries out
lol at this rate (low sales + public adoration + critical praise + death of coupes in general) it'll become a classic too soon and we see a u shaped pricing trend, where it depreciates slowly for the next three years or so then starts re-appreciating even past the original price point. It happened with the LFA
@@apunahasapeemapetilon9682 I'm not talking about any old Lexus, JUST the LFA, of which some versions now cost DOUBLE what they did back when it first came out, and all of them at least cost pretty much the same. The LC500 has a chance of becoming the second Lexus like that

I'm really worried about the current bank crisis. If a bank as big as SVB could fail, I fear for a lot more. I know a friend who is running a high-growth startup, and was badly hit by the bank run. I have pulled out more than $340k from my bank. After all, the FDIC covers only up to $250,000, and the implosion could have bad effect. Looking to invest into the stock market now. When Lexus (Toyota) really puts their mind to it, they can make a masterpiece once in a while. LFA and LC500 are in the running for some of the best sounding engines in their respective cylinder class

Lexus. This has nothing in common with a Toyota. Toyota wasn't even in the building when this car was being produced. The audi a8 engineers don't talk to the Volkswagen engineers. Separate the two it just seems kinda crazy watching a video of an amazing hundred thousand dollar vehicle and because its owned by Toyota people want them to be the same.

I remember when people were bashing this car at release saying sh** like this engine is not good, not powerfull, etc. Just hear this V8 engine sound, look at the acceleration, transmission. This is a beast. 95% of people will not need more than this. And the interior, is gorgeous. No american car come even close to this level.
@Rocco Bartolomeo the c8 and LC compete in different classes for different people the c8 is nowhere near as luxurious as the LC and the LC is nowhere near as sporty as the c8
Love that you do PoV's with the sound system. Not sure why other reviewers can't take that extra step to find some copyright free music. I mean honestly I would always have tunes going when cruising down the road. Have a sub.
This is literally thee perfect car. Convertible, Gorgeous body, incredible sound, peppy acceleration, pretty interior, technologically advanced, built sturdy & reliable because it’s build by a Japanese powerhouse, Lexus, the luxury sector of Toyota, aka the best cars in the world when it comes to withstanding the damn test of time! Really saving money for this.....
@majortom1158 its not nearly as bad as most people make it out to be, still perfectly usable. And definitely not a deal breaker for any lexus, ESPECIALLY this one
3lite amgs are very unreliable...I know because I've own 2. They are faster but not as fun to drive. There is no emotional connection and the sound is very artificial. You can't beat the sound of an NA engin
I've been a LS owner for years now, I have had 4 of them over the last 20ish years, this is one car that is might change my mind on my next car. Amazing looking car and the sounds are incredible.
This is why I love Lexus to death, the interior dash looks immaculate, shapes and contours are very pleasing to the eye, it's so god damn organized and lovely

I'll take the crappy infotainment UI. This is a gorgeous car that is made with an attention to detail unmatched by any other luxury maker. The exhaust note is icing on the cake.
Concept cars usually have badass wheels like this but when the production models come out they have some very generic looking ones instead. I REALLY like these ones, the whole car looks like a concept model that was put straight into production.
@@carboydorifutoparty3976 LFA V10 is a lightweight Yamaha engine, lighter than current V8s in the Lexus lineup... And cars you've mentioned aren't luxury GTs... LC500 competes with M6s, Benz 4 seat coupes etc.. which are all turbocharged now and even heavier by the way. Enthusiasts would buy an NA 580-600hp V10 LC with superior sound and looks...

And 150k for it they'd need to have more than just sound and considering that that's gtr,Huracan,and a few other cars territory people will be swayed to buy other cars over for the same reasons they already do with the one we already have. Weight,speed,and hp. If it still is slower than the cars in its price range I wouldn't doubt someone would buy something like a Viper or a huracan over since they've both got larger crowds than the LC even with a V10 would get stumbled by both of them with ease.

RYXZVKI to be fair it is expensive for lexus to produce sports cars because toyotas main focus is reliability and it is easy to make 500 horsepower but difficult to make 500 RELIABLE horsepower, it’s why an AMG or M car around this price will lose it’s value much quicker than this lexus
Hearing this sound system reminds me of your comment about the system in the Volvo V60 Cross Country. You said that all the other systems sound like you have a wax build up in your ears, but the Volvo's sounds like you just had your ears cleaned out. I can definitely hear that.
There are a lot of six figure cars out there with weird style and ugly interiors.... This beast, dear lord. Another level. Has to be the most gorgeous interior I've ever seen. The sound has some of that LFA magic (tuned by Yamaha) and well, it's built by Toyota, so I won't live at the dealership like some of the competition. I WANT!!!

It's still a little out of my price range but it's like a more luxurious modern 5.0 mustang as far as the driving experience and sound (and probably more reliable too lol)
The "orange" color on the tach is customizable. You can turn it off (default) or on and also set the rpm which determines when the orange lights up. These are awesome cars. I've had mind for just under two years and I'm still learning new things that it will do...even after I've studied the Owner's Manual. Lexus hit a home run with this baby!!

@@miketheman4341 Because other brands offer way better performance for the price point, better software, and are more updated. Lexus is very old school and the price tag doesn't help
