AMEN ABOUT THE COOLED SEATS!!! Its hotter in most places in America than it is cold. why are cooled seats so much more rare but heated seats are super common. Please push this
It’s a real shame the prices of these new trucks are becoming out of reach for the average guy I certainly cannot afford to $65,000 pick up truck glad to see someone can
Nice!👍 My 2021 Ram Bighorn Crew with Hemi came in today...in Olive green pearlcoat! Sooooo pretty!😝👍 Took exactly 8 weeks from date of order to here in FL...
I just bought my Ram Rebel 3 days ago, same color but mine is monotone so no black around the bottom which is what I wanted. I do have the air ride suspension which is really nice, I dont have the front camera or rear mirror camera but have pretty much everything else. I got EP on my Rebel plus right now I traded in my 2018 White sport ram with 23k miles on it for $5,500 more than what I paid for it.....yeah, all in all I got over $21,000 off my Rebel. Cant beat that! I absolutely love this truck!
"Its the 21st century the future is now old man"......Oh yeah because financial responsibility and common sense are a thing of the past. Don't get me wrong this truck is super nice, but paying that much I am going to be living in that thing. I think the 2021 Ram is probably the best looking truck out there and just all around beefy. I love the 2021 Tundra overall, but the Ram just looks so nice
The Night Edition is more than just a name change from the Black Appearance Package. You can order the Night Edition with different paint colors, while the Black Appearance Package was only available with black paint.
I bought new a 1998 Ram1500 reg cab, short bed; a 2001 same thing except the extended cab; and I still have the 2003 Ram2500 reg cab, 8’ bed (with Fisher v-plow) all in 4 wheel drive. Looking at all the new technology and features on your reviews (which are great by the way) I feel like I have a dinosaur. I just can’t bring myself to spend 60-70k on a truck. I am buying a 2020 WRX though for my driver but that’s only half of what that Rebel costs!
finally they implement the 360 camera, a little jelly since my 2019 rebel doesn't have it but all good. Oddly for the 2021 Rebel, I am not sure why either they did not implement the vented seats, yet he TRX has heated and vented seats lol. I'm going to wait for the TRX
Maybe when showing the heads up display, put something dark, piece of cardboard, outside of the windshield where the display is so it’s visible on camera. Just a suggestion. Great vid as usual Ben!
Good review...only thing is the gear limiter isn't a manual shifter... it limits the range of the 8 speed to any of the lower gears and for what I use mine for is it shuts the MDS system off for around town driving! Highway is only time I keep the MDS on!
When you see the long touch screen in a Ram, assume 60k+ price tag. So work truck versions are around 30. The options are as valuable as another truck but they couldn’t even give it a bed liner? This is a cool truck but only about 0.1% of America can realistically afford it. The rest are financing longer than they should be and going broke in the process. It’d be one thing if it never needed maintenance but it will like everything else. Guess if you want it don’t get married and don’t have kids and like spending every penny you make on your vehicle. Lol. My household is in the fortunate 15% of America that brings in six figures and there’s no possible way... just saying. Nice review though.
As a young family man i couldn't agree more.. and we are well in the six figure range. Trucks cost more than a third of your house and the mortgage.. just doesn't make financial sense At all.. good review though 👌
At this point it is whether I buy a new truck or use all of that for a partial house down payment - the future is now, and my driveway is barely big enough to hold a smart car let alone a nice truck.
If you succeed like you should over time.....you should buy a car at some point that cost the same as your first house. I'm gonna need a little more time. But the rebel is def my next truck
I wasn’t aware of the off road feature, I’m curious if it’s just an update I could get on my 2020 rebel? Kinda irritating that they come out with all the cameras and goodies 4 months after I buy mine -.- HUD wasn’t an option either and aside from vented seats that’s what irritates me the most
That’s why I’ve been waiting 5 years to buy a truck. Every time I’m bout to pull the trigger something better comes out. I’m going to wait and see how the new F150’s perform in reviews and I’m buying in 2022 no matter what.
I hate that you can't get it with the CrewCab 6'4" bed anymore. They make other trims with it so why not the Rebel. I thought about getting one when I was still looking at half-tons but was surprised to not see it as an option. I wanted a crew cab and IMHO the 5' bed is just not practical, had it on a Chevy and I hated it, never again, just big enough to be annoying.
I appreciate these reviews but for me, it doesn't sell it for me when these trucks are shown to have such a low capacity space for their bed. I'd like it in the future if you showed these trucks having the largest possible back bed space, after all, that's what makes them a "Truck" in the model section that makes them different from cars, jeeps, vans, etc. I'd just like to see all that space in the back that I could use for being able to load large wide-screen TV's without it having to sit awkwardly propped up against the tail of the vehicle at an angle as it doesn't appear to sit safe and snugly secure in the back of the vehicle. It just bugs me to no end when I see people trying to load up large TV's into small vehicles in the Walmart parking lot. I know I'm being nit-picky but I'm just saying. I know that you can order for a larger bedding for these trucks but it just feels nicer to be able to see them while reviewing them.
I'm not an off road guy but the rebel are amazing on the farm for me. I can go at an acceptable speed and my shit isn't bouncing around my cab. We have All sorts of trucks but the rebel is the best by far and can do most things other trucks can.Towing is not it's strong suit.
Does this have the Harman Kardon sound system? The website shows it only has the Alpine 9 speaker, but other pages and videos show the HK. Idek at this point.
You keep saying in all of your RAM reviews that the Gear Limiter is a "Manual Shift". It is not...it only limits the maximum gear that your tranny will utilize for towing or other off-road purposes. Paddle shifters are a manual shift...this is not the same and the functionality is very different. You do a decent job of reviewing, but please educate yourself on these trucks before reviewing them and making incorrect statements.
Is the Rebel available with “4WD Auto” as part of the transfer case. Seems like I only see it on other trims of the RAM. Yeah $65k MSRP I’d lean heavily towards the Trail Boss with a 6.2L that’s in the $59-61k MSRP.
On Ram Build and Price for Rebel 2021 you can add the "Electronic Shift On-Demand Transfer Case": This on-demand transfer case provides four operating ranges: Auto, 2HI, 4HI and 4LO. The auto range optimizes the distribution of torque based on driving conditions, and 4HI and 4LO maximize the torque distribution to all four wheels by engaging two- or four-wheel drive depending on road conditions.
hey ben Laramie vs rebel witch one ride smoother on road, I currently have Laramie and am about to get a rebel but im little concerned about on road ride quality, there is no rebel in my local dealer to test drive.thanks.
